First movie that brought me to tears was Old Yeller when I was just a wee lad. These days, anything where something bad happens to kids. All I can think about is my own kids having something bad happen to them and it chokes me up.

Saving Private Ryan, when Tom Hanks is dying on the bridge and tells Matt Damon to "earn this, earn it." Makes me think about living my life the best I can to honor the sacrifice.
Well said. 100% agree.

i didn't read all the posts so forgive me if i'm rehashing a movie but for some reason, every time i watch the movie click i get a little teary eyed right there near the end when old, adam sandler falls to the ground in the pouring down rain as he's yelling for his son and then has a few last words with his son and ex-wife as he's dieing.

First movie that brought me to tears was Old Yeller when I was just a wee lad. When I was a kid we got a yellow lab from a rescue group. About a week later my 5th grade class watched that movie. I don't think I'd ever heard about it but I remember that at first I was really excited because Yeller looked just like our new dog. And then we got to the end of the movie...

The line that gets me the most is when he turns to his wife at the grave site and says, "Tell me I'm a good man."
Sniffle, snort, sniffle...

Rudy, no matter how many times I watch it will always make me cry at the end. I love that movie because it envokes so much emotion form me. I'm welling up right now thinking of him getting into the game and getting that sack.
...and his Dad is there and all and the crowd is going insane...*cough*...No, it's my allergies, I'm not crying.
...Rudy! Rudy! Rudy!...*cough*

I agree I have 2 girls and 1 son, and just about any movie that, in my mind, i replace the child with one of my 3 and think, "Oh, my God, what if that happened to ..." Yeah that gets me going...
