You need more Cowboys-hatred running through your veins if you're going to call yourself a Skins fan. :D

whoa, ripping Romo is wholly separate from Campbell, that's the point. We all know Campbell has this year to perform or go home. Everyone on this Earth that remotely follows football knows this fact.

What Cowpuke fans want to imply (to the point of saying he will be the MVP this year) is that Romo is an all-star forever and ever amen. Romo has had great numbers in Sep/Oct, with TO on his team (note both other qbs of TO had great numbers throughout the season and McNabb got to the SB with TO on his team). BUT Romo has been crud at protecting the ball, nor has he shown any improvement in this area. And he has played horrible in late season win or go home games. The media and cowpuke fans would have you believe he is incredible. But he is on the hotseat every bit as much as JC. I personally am hoping that by week 12 WP is on the way out, Garrett has Romo fever again, and Romo and Witten are drawing up plays in the locker room. Good luck to them going better than 9-7 (not really good luck, bad luck, mean evil awful luck, luck that finds Romo throwing a pick 6 every game and MB running the wrong way on the hand off, yeah that kinda luck!)

Man, are you ever WAAAAY off the mark here.

I cannot speak for all, but I for one do not think "that Romo is an all-star forever and ever amen."

All I am implying is that Romo has been in 2 playoff games, just 2. So he looses in those games, so what.

The point I am trying to make is when he lost these 2 playoff games he is tagged as "a choker". But when Peyton Manning lost his first 3 playoff games, he was the victim of a sub-par Colts defense.

When Brett Favre throws a "pick 6" in a playoff game to loose, he is not a "choker", it was an "unfortunate circumstance.

Not putting Romo in the same league as these 2 guys, but you see my point.

Not really. There was a lot of doubt about Peyton until they won a SB. Plus he was a consensus top-flight QB. Not just considred a good one. Romo isn't.

He also has rings and has won many playoff games.

When all you've done is lost playoff games then people are going to call you a choker. Not that I totally agree but it isn't even worth arguing about because it wont go away until they win some playoff games. Plain and simple. When you consider the circumstances of those losses then it becomes even more obvious why he gets labeled a choker.

Seriously, Cowboys fans, and the media with it's Cowboys love, make this guy out way better than his production (won games) shows. Is he good in Sep/Oct yes, but I will be curious now that TO is gone how he does. Any other market, and less delusional fan base would have had him out the door after the successive failures. I am pretty sure the loss to Pitt, and Philly debacle last year were all on his shoulders.

I can name several qb's I would "scream for Snyder to sign", Romo is not one of them.

I will re-evaluate, if he ever wins in the post season. (won't be this year though)
Agreed, however the one thing that you can probably say looking objectively is that if Romo wasn't with the Cowboys next year, he'd probably be starting for some other team; with Campbell you can't guarantee that.

But you know what they say, "winning cures all ailments". But when Romo and the Cowboys do eventually win in the playoffs, maybe this year, maybe next year, who knows, I am sure you will find something else to complain about. Maybe the part in his hair?
When did he start parting his hair?

True enough. Just not the Skins!

Just a reminder, he would have been in 3 playoff games, if he hadn't choked in Philly last year.
His numbers in the game:
................yds avg td int
21/39........183 4.7 0 1

as a comparison these were Campbells from the week before against Philly.
18/33........144 4.4 0 0

and Romo's number in Sept. when the game was not a playoff atmosphere:
21/30........312 10.4 3 1

I am definitely not boasting of Campbell's ability or comparing him to Romo, just hammering home that for his ability, Romo chokes.

IF/When he overcomes that, I will re-evaluate my opinion.
I doubt it will be anytime soon.
