I think he is probably just done. Total warrior.
If there is anyone tougher in the NFL, I would like to know who it is.
I will never forget the Dallas game when he was carted off with a broken leg and told the camera, "Gotta love it".
I think his body just decided to throw in the towel.
We hear all about how terrible professional athletes are as role models. That doesn't apply to Randy Thomas.

Gibbs gave it up, why can't Zorn?
Excellent point. Not only that but Saunders, or Saunders/Gibbs, or Gibbs/Saunders...wait now I'm lost :)...put the game in Jason's hands as well, letting him call the plays and run a hurry up offense and the whole enchilada. I think JC has proven he is a student of the game and capable of running the offense.
...I really wish before we make any coaching changes, other than canning Hixon and bringing in a legit WR coach, Jason gets the opportunity to show what Zorn has taught him. Jason looks better than I can remember. I think he's close to a huge breakthrough as long as the line gives him time. And I give Zorn his due credit for Jason's development...I just think when it comes to putting the pieces together on gameday Zorn over-thinks everything, or maybe become too focused on just a few things. Put the ball in Jason's hands and let him shred the defense.

Yeah, Ok, Tell that to Sellers who had the ball blasted at him with in 10 yrds and watched the ball go through his hands. Might have been a TD, maybe not. ...but lets not put blame where blame is due and coddle the QB. Better yet lets enable him and tell him he's doing well and keep doing it, then blame Sellers for not making the catch.
Have you ever played the game of football? You sound like a damn fool. Football is a game men play not crying babys. If a WR gets his hands on the ball they will tell you ever time they should have caught the pass. You are a JC Hater so just admit you don't like him cause you look foolish with this statement.

Weren't there whispers in camp that some in the organization wanted Rinehart to be starting at RG?
Nothing against Thomas but I hope this injury is a blessing in disguise. It's time to see what Rinehart is capable of.
I agree its time for him to start earning his 3rd draft choice keep. He is going to Sink or Swim. Lets hope he swims.
You are always the voice of reason, and this post sounds to me like you have already given up on Zorn. Maybe, I am taking it out of context, but if you feel this way, Zorn is in deep trouble. I thought there were some questionable calls, but I did not realize how mad everyone was. I hope that everyone is wrong, because I am sick of this team starting over.
I haven't given up on Zorn yet, but he needs to find a way to start putting points on the board pretty quick. He's already started to lose some fans, the players will be next.

Good response. People act like a QBs pass is going to land squarely in their hands ALL the time. WRs need to make plays as well. During the Cowpukes/G-men game, there were times that Eli was throwing the ball well to his wideouts and there were times when his wideouts had to go up and grab the ball or make a play to get to the ball. Once again, people just focusing on one thing and not looking at the overall picture.

The thing is though that ball was well thrown and JC definitely took something off of it. Sellers flat out dropped it and he knows it. No excuses.

Interestingly, the Lions game may be the most important game of JZ's career.........

Why wouldn't the Redskins re-sign Boston Pete at this point?
How could it hurt? Give Reinhart a shot but having a back-up plan is never a bad idea.

That makes sense to me.
