In the NFL Tebow isn't faster than anyone on the field and those Gator gimmicks won't work in the pro either. I feel Bradford is more NFL ready than Tebow. If there was a chance of us drafting him I would jump all over it.

You and I both see Clausen every week, and my conclusion is that if he returns to ND for another year, and refines his sense of the pocket, continues to develop as a passer (evidenced by completion percentage), he will be a franchise-type prospect for someone. If he comes out this year, well, he's more or less a more accurate version of Matt Stafford, which means he'll be heavily reliant on the situation he's taken into. Which means he would fail here.He would fail here under the current circumstances, but we need to see who the GM and coach will be going forward. If they're solid and committed to building a good OL in front of Clausen he'll be fine. Peyton and Troy Aikman come to mind as QBs who had to struggle through their rookie season but turned out OK

He also might have height issues, at roughly six feet out there. Though, truth of the matter is, if he hasn't run into issues in college with his height, he'll probably do just fine in the pros.I haven't noticed him looking small compared to the other players out there. Everything I've seen has him listed at 6'3", maybe they're giving him an inch or two (but it's not like Chase Daniels was 6' either LOL).

This front five, though, is particularly poor. And it's not for lack of talent. Well, maybe in Will Montgomery's case. But my general opinion is that it's a communication issue in the interior line (which includes the back pickups), and a talent issue on the outside with one on ones with our tackles and their ends.We see this one the same. I know I've said it 1000 times, the line shuffle killed us. Heyer would be fine at RT. He's quick enough over there against most LDEs, if someone throws a Tuck or Peppers he may get beat once in a while, but he's solid over there. If Rinehart isn't hurt (which I don't think he is) IDK what the coaches saw to bench him for Monty. MW can play G, his quickness and footwork are too poor for even RT.

What is baffling to me is that it doesn't look like the Skins have a blitz pick-up session at all during the week. At the last HS I was at we had 15-20 min, at least twice per week, during game weeks of blitz pick-ups with the OL and RBs. We would look at film of the upcoming team and run their blitzes to make sure we picked them up. It sure doesn't look like the Skins are doing this, or if they are someone ain't paying attention.

I definitely agree on Clausen. I actually prefer McCoy to Tebow overall, but when I see Colt I don't see him as all that much a better option than Chase Daniel quite frankly. I think Zac Robinson and Jevan Snead, two guys I've mentioned in the past, could be good fits in the right situation. Not sure that situation is here though. I'd be happy with either one of them though

Snead definitely hasn't had a strong year at all, and a lot of that is due to poor line play...which some would argue could be a problem for him here. I think his struggles have been a fluke but who knows.

McCoy is a very good college player with lot's of mobility with an average arm. Plus he doesn't play in a conventional NFL offense....just like Heath. IMO he's not going to be able to get under center and make NFL throws week after week, thread the needle in traffic. He's got the mobility, like Heath had but he just doesn't have the NFL pocket game IMO.

At this point, we're going to be rebuilding for 2-3 years so we'd be better off trading down and accumulating depth accross our roster instead of adding one spashly player at the top of the first round. From what I read, next years draft is pretty deep overall. I say we take advantage of it and accumulate as many picks in rounds 2-4 as possible.

In theory I agree with you. However, I seriously doubt we'll find a team willing to trade into the top 5 for our pick. The amount you have to give up and the price you have to pay for the player prohibits anything about 12ish being very trade able.
