I think losing Bryant has made Robinson a better QB, or allowed him to show his skills. He's really spreading the ball around. McCoy is totally locked in on Shipley, and I mean why wouldn't he beMcCoy hasn't needed to go elsewhere too often, but he's also so good at advanced pre-snap reads that he won't waste snaps. I think the guy is the total package, every bit as good as Matt Ryan coming out.
It seems like the NFL draft guys only want to evaluate players off of "pro-style" offenses, but in all honesty, by the time these guys are in their primes, the median professional offense is going to look more like a current college offense than what it currently does.
I just don't like that people (scouts) shrink the college quarterback universe to just include players from about ten offenses. I understand that there might be a translation factor from spread offenses, but I don't think there should be position scarcity at QB in the NFL, especially since every team only needs one.
