not a fan of mayweather. supposedly paq and him are in talks but at this point they both missed the window to give boxing fans the fight we so desperately deserve for sticking with such a POS disorganized sport.
when mayweather and fox news has your back .... thats not a good look.

Mayweather is garbage. This is a low character criminal and too often our society equates people having money as people with high character. Never is it more false than in today's society.

Im just now hearing the Goodell interview on CBS from last night...Goodell comes away not sounding so good and Im kinda confused. It sounds like to me they obviously didnt do their due dillegence in the investigation. I would imagine some changes are coming to the NFL on how they handle crime and punishment.

I hear some people calling for Goodell to be fired. I thought that was a stretch, but after seeing that CBS interview I am not so sure anymore. He really made a major mistake.
Does not look good at all.

I don't understand the "fire Goodell" thing. As far as I know he didn't make Rice hit his wife. And it is not like the NFL hasn't made bad punishment choices before. Later this year, the Cowboys get back a player who got only 10 games for killing a teammate. The Panthers and the 49ers both had players week 1 who were accused of domestic violence. The only difference is that there is no video of them.
The only thing that I could see costing Goodell his job is if was lying about whether he had seen the elevator tape. At that point no one would trust his word ever again and he wouldn't be able to go forward.
I'm more concerned about the fact Rice isn't behind bars than a botched NFL investigation. I think a lot of parties are at fault here.

Agree. I think Goodell messed up something terrible, but this "fire Goodell movement" is the type of crappy media driven world we live in where its headline driven stories, provoking the "connected masses" to grab pitchforks brutelly punish all scapegoats. Once Ray was gone, you need more bodies to keep the story going...People need to look in their own communities and ask question now. Firing Goodell doesnt fit here.
Floyd Mayweather Thinks The NFL Was Too Hard On Ray Rice (http://deadspin.com/floyd-mayweather-thinks-the-nfl-was-too-hard-on-ray-ric-1632897093)
god lord, i have officially heard it all.
"Mayweather, who has been convicted of, pleaded guilty or no contest to, or pleaded down from at least 15 combined counts of domestic violence, battery, harassment, stalking, and violating a protective order, said that he himself has been falsely accused before."
This shit with Ray is Bullshit.......

P.S. According to John Clayton, Goodell ain't going anywhere

The answer to the question should have been a no brainer. Whoever released the video, wasn't dumb. Why release it to CNN or NBC if they weren't going to pay you or pay you top dollar? Might as well get paid for something as big as that. More people probably are into TMZ now than news anymore. More outrageous and less depressing, although in this instance it was pathetic.
Interestingly enough they could have sold multiple copies if they new how journalism works instead of giving it exclusive. Reed Timmer and other chasers of major news stories are well known for getting compensated by multiple outlets for the same footage.

Also, a lot of people seem to be letting the Ravens organization off the hook. The Redskins and Dan Snyder get a lot of flak over the name issue; yet the Ravens and Steve Bisciotti are getting off easy IMO.
