You are correct. But to push it further, I've had women beat the crap out of me but I did zero to retaliate physically.
I had a guy walk into work with a black eye from his girlfriend about 5 years ago. This dude was 6-4 and about 300 lbs, gentle giant and he never touched her. I remember how everyone felt just terrible for the guy and him having to explain it every 5 minutes.

Goes to show you that you can be a complete moron and work in NFL PR. The product is going to sell no matter how incompetent you are at your job.

About Mara being on the investigation team...
@NBCdianna
Giants owner, John Mara now overseeing the independent investigation in Ray Rice evidence recently said...
@NBCdianna
The video is appalling, and I believe that the team and the League took appropriate action after they finally had the opportunity to view it
These guys are a joke. They really are. I think everybody knows this "investigation" is a sham.

I'm sure this wasn't agreed upon last night, nor it is something that you could easily get out of.

I'm tired of this already. I can't stand Goodell and he may be lying, but I really don't care. He's not my dad or anything. People get so bent out of shape over things that really aren't any of their business. Rice got away with hitting his wife and he got what he deserved football wise. The law messed up, so did the NFL, they'll get it right if there's a next time. But this media onslaught is ridiculous.
Really? What makes you think they will get it right the next time? There will be a next time.
I am also tired of all the people jumping on their soap box and running their mouth and being over judgmental. I think the wealthy & famous people that get away with a slap on the wrist for serious crimes is not going to end. If you are famous and rich the rules are not the same for regular folks. Ask Justin Bieber or Chris Brown.....etc. etc.
I also think the NFL culture protecting their own may not come to an immediate end with out them being embarrassed enough to create change. The change will only happen if it is made a big deal.
If you are tired of it turn it off. It is that simple.

If Jay-Z had hit that chick in the elevator, I don't think people would have cared, but on that video the hit Janay gave Ray.............my daughter hit me harder yesterday when I said "no juice, drink water"

For a short time, that was me. Same experience. I don't miss that girlfriend.

Wait ... seriously? So what's the halftime show? A tribute to the musical stylings of Ike and Tina Turner?

Well, they decided to replace Priyanka Chopra with Rihanna at some point this off-season. As I told SS, it was a downgrade.
Even so, I don't know why in the fuck they would replace her with Rihanna due to Rihanna is often controversial in her actions and words. Even before this domestic violence thing, I don't get why they would select her.
Well, their stupidity bit them in the ass.
