Ravens release Ray RiceCrustyRedskin 09-08-2014, 08:45 PM I heard Rog Goodell hired this guy as one of his personal advisers for public affairs. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jcd1l2wh-NY MTK 09-08-2014, 08:47 PM That 2 game suspension was bull. I really cant give a good answer. I really dont know. I just dont like the talking heads jumping all over the ship when they should done it from the get go. Who knows. Talking heads were talking plenty on this story initially, but without definitive proof what can you do? MTK 09-08-2014, 08:49 PM I honestly feel that Rice's people hid things when it first happened; and the Ravens were too quick to sweep everything under the rug. I personally feel the video is just so sickening and shocking, that it led to the reaction. Yeah I get the feeling everyone involved wanted this whole story buried as quickly as possible. Until the video showed up they almost did it too. Disgusting. BaltimoreSkins 09-08-2014, 08:49 PM Personally I think the ownership of the Ravens needs to address this and not the coach warpaint 09-08-2014, 08:50 PM IDK. Sad story really dont know. All i know is he is fucked. BaltimoreSkins 09-08-2014, 08:50 PM Yeah I get the feeling everyone involved wanted this whole story buried as quickly as possible. You wonder if the video even surfaces if that casino didn't close earlier this month MTK 09-08-2014, 08:50 PM Personally I think the ownership of the Ravens needs to address this and not the coach Seriously, poorly handled on their part yet again. Chico23231 09-08-2014, 08:55 PM IDK. Sad story really dont know. All i know is he is fucked. We r a second chance nation, if he commits himself to change and stays in shape I wouldn't be surprised if he is given the opportunity to at least attempt a comeback. Ruhskins 09-08-2014, 08:57 PM Personally I think the ownership of the Ravens needs to address this and not the coach Agreed. Steve Bisciotti should have been the one on the podium addressing the situation. And what I don't get is that, if Rice lied to them, they should have stated that in any communication with the press. Which makes it easy to assume that they were involved in the cover up. I know people want to buried Goodell, and rightfully so, but to me this is more on the Ravens as an organization. Piss poor on the prosecutors part but idk Joe could shed light on that |
