NFL Network will be hosting a three hour discussion and seminar on domestic violence this evening. The seminar will be interrupted periodically with updates from a football game being played in Baltimore at the same time.
:laughing2
That's some funny shit. Thanks for the laugh Joe.

I'll keep beating this dead horse, because I'm amazed at the public's stupidity.
You are? You only need to look at our elected officials to show you how stupid the majority of the public really are.
This is fitting since today is 9/11 and goes along with the theme here.

Yet no one is calling for Newsome to resign or Bisciotti to sell the team.
Keith Olbermann actually called for everybody to be fired (including Ozzie) so I'll give him credit for that much.

People want to say something about Jerry Richardson and the Panthers in regards to Greg Hardy. I don't think you'll see too many owners break down during a speech like Jerry did here. You can tell it bothers him, which is definitely something Goodell (and Bisciotti) are lacking.
Greg Hardy excused from Carolina Panthers practice to meet with lawyer - ESPN (http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/11504050/greg-hardy-excused-carolina-panthers-practice-meet-lawyer)
The Panthers (and the NFL) are right to allow the legal system to play about before coming down on Hardy. There isn't any video in this situation that shows us the facts or events. Due process should be allowed to happen and then punish the person if convicted. It needs to be done because there are a lot of false allegations put on men by women, and there are a lot that are legit. Let the legal system do its thing and then act.

Well, it's getting out of hand b/c (1) of the visceral response to the tape by everyone; (2) the "WTF" factor - how could this ever have been just a two game suspension; (3) Domestic abuse and violence against women is a hot button topic recently; (4) the appearance of a cover-up.
Frankly, I think, but for No. 4, this would begin to slowly die down. As someone said earlier, if it looks like your covering something up, all you do is heighten scrutiny (rightfully so in my opinion). Goodell & the Ravens screwed the pooch on this one initially and now their stories as to why they did so are looking like a pack of lies. Not good for moving on from the story.
I think Watergate taught everyone that the cover up is worse than the crime.

What a lot of people seem to not get when it comes to hitting women, there is a difference between self-defense and beating a woman.

I just watched this episode yesterday!
KO is always calling for people to be fired all the time, it's become hard to take seriously

Very true. Which is why I generally don't watch him. He's over the top on about everything.

You are correct. But to push it further, I've had women beat the crap out of me but I did zero to retaliate physically.

Him and Glen Beck are the same person. I cant sit through 2 minutes of either of them.
