Another oldschool football guy for the gentlemen's club. I'm sure AJ Smith will be good company at the dinner table with Dan and Bruce.

I think AJ would be better than Allen, if for no other reason then taking the role of GM from Allen, because It'd help with accountability. I understand that many decisions are made organizationally, but how can anyone give their best to two jobs simultaneously, I don't think they can.

I like the talent the Chargers had from AJ's tenure, but I'm not completely advocating AJ either. The Redskins need to reform the decision making structure, because it's clearly not effective as is. If he's the guy, I'm onboard.

Exactly. We never pursue the next big thing we always chase after the last big thing.

Never gonna make it trying to duplicate success other teams have had after their talent has already had their moment in the sun instead of developing our own.

It's a copy cat league. By the time the teams lagging behind catch up, the innovators are already on to something else.

Smith is rich, fat, and happy. What does he have left to prove that is worth 18 hour days?

Don't know where you stand on Gruden? But a lot of skins fans will complain either way...when we hired Shanny we all loved it, then he started to wear on us, but in 2012 when we won division we thought we had finally found something...then 2013 happened and we all wanted a fresh up and coming coordinator, now after one season a lot of fans want to dump him. We as Skins fans are just as bad as the FO of this organization.

We as Skins fans are just as bad as the FO of this organization. I strongly disagree with you. The fans job is the support the team, which many of us have been doing for decades. We invest our money, time, and emotions in this team year after year. We have more than done our part. The FO on the other hand have not since Snyder brought the team. It's been one disaster after another. We're one of the most loyal and committed fanbases in football. The Redskins front office is one of the worse in the league.

People want Gruden gone because he shouldn't have been hired in the first place. He's only got three years of experience as an OC. Out of those three years his offense ranked in the top ten only once. As we can see Andy Dalton is nothing more than an average qb just like he was under Gruden. If people want Gruden gone, it's because he hasn't done a good job. More than likely Gruden will be gone by mid season.

He would certainly be an upgrade over what we have now.
