I hold results on the NFL field in high regard and I see these players as a fit (on a one year deal). At some point you have to forgive them for mistakes. I feel that we need to fill as many holes on the team as possible in free agency so that the players that we draft can have the opportunity to develop into starting roles. That is why I love the pot-roast deal. If he proves to be his worth we give him a long term deal next year, If we draft a guy like Shelton the pressure will not be on him to be the savior. | |
