Snyder could get so pissed after another losing season that he blows the whole thing up and starts over. There were rumors earlier during pre-season that he was described as being "livid" when a QB change was suggested to him. It is obvious that it took heavy, heavy persuasion to get him to change his mind, and he most likely told both Scott M and Gruden, that if it didn't work this season, they were both gone, and he'd find someone else to coach RG3.
That's quite a bit of speculation. I'm sure he is partial to RGIII and that it took some persuasion but like Ron Wolf said, doubt scot takes job if he wasn't going to be allowed to do it his way.
Gruden is not Scot's hire so I can see JG getting fired if there is no significant progress this year.
Can we stop with the wild speculations already?
McCloughan isn't going anywhere anytime soon.

If Snyder was stupid enough to fire Scotty after 1 season, after he drafted what seems to be some really good personnel to build a team around over the next few years, I would completely bail on this team and never look back.
I know Snyder can be stupid but hopefully never that stupid.

COULD?...Come on man!
There have been several peeps IN the organization that have come out and STATED:
Unified front! All on board! All Agree on the RG3 deal Etc. Etc.

There was an article posted here a while back where Snyder was quoted as saying he really thought McCloughan had put a "fantastic" team together. What's his reaction gonna be like when he finds out it's not so fantastic? He's not exactly known for patience.

Snyder has continually showed patience. That is one stereotype of him I have never understood. I know his first 4 years he made rash moves but other than Marty (granted that was a big one) he has been more patient then most fans usually wanted him to be. Even now with RG3 the person mainly in the way of moving on is Snyder.
There is zero chance that SM is fired after one year barring some non-football expose that blows up.

They haven't even played a game and you are already saying they suck? Let's wait and see before we make a judgement.

My hope is that Kirk is the answer at QB, but if not I really like Connor Cook. Super fast release, and he is 6'4. No more small guys.

There are some really good young QB's playing in college this year in addition to Cook. Goff at Cal, Kessler at USC, Rosen at UCLA and the guy that impressed me today, CJ Beathard out of Iowa (Bobby Beathard's grandson).
