Another guy that is under the radar and a good CB is

QUENTON MEEKS, CB, STANFORD
The big thing a team will get with Meeks is a very high football IQ. His father was an NFL defensive coach for over 20 years and has no doubt taught Meeks a thing or two. He also has ideal size for a NFL cornerback at 6-foot-1, 209-pounds with 31 3/4-inch arms. At the combine, Meeks showed explosive athleticism with jumps of 39-inches in the vertical and a 10-foot-8-inch broad jump. He then ran a 4.49 40-yard dash at his pro day. Meeks improved his overall grade (84.4 in 2017) and coverage grade (83.9 in 2017) each year at Stanford and he spent most of his time playing outside corner and that is where he fits in the NFL. Meeks’ consistent development along with his size and intelligence will make him attractive to teams during the draft.

This would be a nice 4th round addition if he is there

The guy from Stanford I want is their Tight End, Dalton Schultz. Under the radar guy who may be the best blocking TE in the draft...mid round guy.

They have put out quality players in recent years.

Drafttek has us taking Denzel Ward. I'd take him. Also, interesting tidbit/confirmation about aiming for compensatory picks next year and a nice dig at Allen:

The Redskins continued with their generally quiet Free Agency strategy, making small signings of Pernell McPhee and Orlando Scandrick. Bruce Allen admitted at the owner's meetings that the team planned on signing players that were cut in order to receive compensation picks next year. So, for those of you calling for Brucey's head, sound like he's confident he's going to be around a while (UGH)! Regardless of the recent signings or my qualms with the front office, the Redskins will likely take BPA on defense in the First Round.

The team sits in a nice spot at 13, as four quarterbacks will likely come off the board before them, pushing top-ten talent down to them. If one of the quarterbacks is still around, or if a team like the Steelers or Saints want to develop the fifth QB taken, the Redskins could be looking at quite a haul of picks in a trade-down scenario with a QB-needy team. Here, the Redskins stay put and land the top CB in the draft in*tantalizing prospect*Denzel Ward. Ward isn't the biggest corner, and his weight (just 183) may scare some teams, but he has good length and instincts on the outside. If the Redskins are worried about his lack of bulk, they can move him into the slot as a rookie to avoid some of the contact he would be taking in the run game.

With Ohio State corners having great success transitioning to the NFL since Urban Meyer took over in Columbus (all 5 CBs drafted since his arrival are currently NFL starters), Denzel Ward could be a replacement-plus for what the team lost in Kendall Fuller earlier this offseason.*

On the bolded part, most teams are realizing that this is a sound strategy. And the Ravens in particular have been widely praised for it.

Lamar jackson opted against the 40.. I wonder if that is a statement to folks that think he's just an athlete not a real QB...

Not sure I haven't paid that much attention to that whole thing.

I’ve been thinking about this lately, Payne in the first, Sony Michel in the 2nd. Thoughts?

Rather have Hurst in rd 1 but either way i hope for a trade down. Michel in the 2nd would be a good pick

I’ve been thinking about this lately, Payne in the first, Sony Michel in the 2nd. Thoughts?I love Michel. He and Guice are the two RB options I like the best (unless Barkley falls), so hell yeah I'd be happy with that.

Payne, I'd be happy with the pick, but if Vea is there I think he compliments this unit better. This also depends on whether or not Hankins or Logan sign with the Skins.

I'd be ecstatic. Trenches are where games are won and lost. But we also have a huge talent void at RB.
