And it always will be. FRPLG 07-12-2007, 04:08 PM It was like that ages ago. And it always will be. and is the main reason that private industry can be the best solution. Beemnseven 07-12-2007, 04:16 PM and is the main reason that private industry can be the best solution. Exactly. A system which allows the service provider to make as much money as possible for giving the best service to the consumer, and punishes the service providers who don't, is the best system around. Profit motive is a wonderful thing for everybody. Why that is so hard for some people to understand is beyond me. Beemnseven 07-12-2007, 04:20 PM Speaking of profits, here's a great piece by John Stossel (http://www.realclearpolitics.com/articles/2007/06/why_is_profit_a_dirty_word.html) on a slightly different, but relevant topic. jsarno 07-12-2007, 05:01 PM too much money. and enough for everyone to go around. in this day and age, it is ALWAYS about the money 100% true. We seem to think that one person can fix it, and that is completely untrue. saden1 07-12-2007, 06:20 PM There are too many psychos (http://www.nydailynews.com/news/crime_file/2007/07/08/2007-07-08_hero_pooch_saves_7yearold_queens_girl.html) out there and parents aren't letting their kids out of sight like the old days. It's really sad. jsarno 07-12-2007, 06:42 PM You know...why don't all of you who voted for that joke in John Kerry call his ass to the carpet if you feel this is all horrible. John Kerry sits on the finance committee in the Senate, and he's on the subcommittee for health care and on the social security and family policy subcommittee. If you can so easily blame Bush, why not blame the guys that are actually on these committees????
