IT is like $30 for me and the wife to go. With movies coming out so quick now and my home theater system what is the point of going to theater. I guess it is stil la good place to go if you are under 21 looking for a night out. MTK 02-14-2012, 02:11 PM I honestly can't remember the last movie I saw in the theater. It might be Inception. DynamiteRave 02-14-2012, 02:19 PM I honestly can't remember the last movie I saw in the theater. It might be Inception. The last movie I saw in theaters was Breaking Dawn. lol and then before that it was Thor in 3D. Yeah. I'm kinda weird. mooby 02-14-2012, 02:23 PM I just went and saw Chronicle in theaters a couple weeks ago. It was more of a "we're bored, we have some cash, lets go see it" kinda deal. It wasn't a "omg, we're huge fanboys that have been waiting to see this movie since we read the script" deal lol. Honestly I don't go to movies that much anymore not because there's stuff not worth seeing, but mostly because it's pretty expensive. And I'm willing to wait until 6 months after the movie comes out and I can catch it on Redbox for 1/12th of the price. I can remember when I was like 7 or 8 and my folks would take me to the matinee show and the total for 3 tickets was like $15. I can only imagine how cheap it was for some of the older members back in the day. mredskins 02-14-2012, 02:31 PM I can remember when I was like 7 or 8 and my folks would take me to the matinee show and the total for 3 tickets was like $15. It was definitely under $5 for a matinee when I was a kid. mooby 02-14-2012, 02:31 PM I can remember when I was like 7 or 8 and my folks would take me to the matinee show and the total for 3 tickets was like $15.
