skinsfaninok 12-17-2013, 07:49 AM Catching Fire is Damn good! mredskins 12-17-2013, 12:43 PM Nice shots... I've also got Room 237 queued up (I think it's supposed to homage The Shining as Trekkies did for Star Trek). Room 237 is so dumb it is just a collection of people's hair brain idea's of what Kuback was trying to do in the moive. Complete left field the whole movie; don't waste your time. Chico23231 12-31-2013, 09:29 AM Nice shots... I've also got Room 237 queued up (I think it's supposed to homage The Shining as Trekkies did for Star Trek). Hey did you see this: A Prophet (2009) - IMDb (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1235166/?) "Un Prophete" Holy shit, really well written screenplay, can be alittle confusing sometimes with so many things going on in the end. But the suspence building sequences were probably some of the best on film ive seen. Id read about this movie a couple years ago, finally queued it and wow. Immediately in my top 5 foreign movies all time. Pick it up if you havent viewed it. mooby 12-31-2013, 11:58 AM The Wolf of Wall Street was a good movie, I'm hesitant to call it great because the ending is kinda flat (although if you've read the book it basically follows the ending of the book) but other than that I enjoyed it. Anchorman 2, well I wish I had stayed home from that. I still love the original, and I knew the previews didn't look that good but me and fam went and saw it anyways. It's disappointing. I'm sure it's really hard for directors to capture the magic that made the first movie what it was, but I suspect in a few months I'll have erased this movie from my memory. That Guy 12-31-2013, 03:10 PM rush is very very good btw. even if you don't like racing. very well done. itvnetop 01-02-2014, 04:31 PM Hey did you see this: A Prophet (2009) - IMDb (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1235166/?) I remember being disappointed that it lost to The Secret In Their Eyes that year... The Academy rarely delivers. Lots of cool symbolism in Un Prophete. Dug the score, too. DynamiteRave 01-02-2014, 07:44 PM Ah, I meant to say Christmas Day I went to see Anchorman 2... It was very.. eh... It had its moments but the first one is definitely better. JPPT1974 01-02-2014, 08:47 PM Went to see a double feature- The Secret Life of Walter Mitty-9/10 Got to love Ben Stiller! Different role for him! Grudge Match-8/10 Kevin Hart was a little annoying and funny at the same time. DynamiteRave 01-12-2014, 05:46 PM Went to see Her and loved it. If you're a tech nerd, you'll love it. Moving and very thought provoking. Also hilarious in some parts. Plus, who doesn't want to listen to Scarlett Johansson having an O? That made it worth it all alone. NC_Skins 02-19-2014, 12:43 PM A pissed off raccoon with guns blazing? I'm sooooo there. pTZ2Tp9yXyM |
