2:36:26 pm RB Anthony Alridge had been running impressively until his fumbling issue resurfaced after a 20-yard run.
:(
The dude's been pretty impressive but he's gonna fumble his way off the team if he doesn't start holding on to the damn thing.

i'm jumping on the Justin Tryon bus early this season, I like the improvement. Bye Bye Westbrook.
Hail to the Redskins

Am I the only one who has a vibe that Marko Mitchell is a real sleeper? He really should make the team based on his camp, but probably will end up practice squad... but I just have this gut feeling that he has a better future ahead of him than Malcolm Kelly, maybe it's just me, but I'm putting it out there.
Oh, and I also feel that the combination of Mason & Aldridge could be as or more productive than Betts/Cartwright. I just feel like every Redskin quoted recently makes a comment about Aldridge's speed & cutting ability & Mason's natural football instincts/abilities.

100% totally agree. 3 yrs and he has done what? Sat on the practice squad. Time to let him go so someone who can be developed can stay.

what is the opinion of those that have been watching the QB position at the camp?
It looks like Collins is going to be getting the short end of the playing time stick versus Colt.

Again another 100% totally agree. But be careful with what your saying. LOL. Some on here would string you up for saying we would get better production out of Mason and Alridge. Honestly, I think it all depends on how quickly the front office and Zorn wants to get younger. My personall feelings ....I could let ARE go and fill his spot with Mitchell or Hackett. I could see Moss, Thomas, Kelly, Hackett (who is still young with only 5yrs in the league) and Eloi. Imagine Moss, Thomas, and Eloi on the field together. Which speed threat do teams cover?
and before anyone else says it....remember Mason was playing against the 2nd string defense. There, for all you Mason haters I put that out there for you. but I like what he brings to the table. He's young, fast, and always finds a hole for positive yards. It sounded like Rock had a difficult day today. I also like the fact they are looking at a speed back.
If I was DS (which obviously I'm not) I'd keep all the young WR's and keep Portis, Mason, and Alridge. The team would be younger, faster, and Portis and Moss could help coach up the young guys.

Here's another one of my personal feelings. I like Collins but apparently the team does not think he's a viable #1. DS has issues with JC and goes outside the team to locate another QB instead of letting Collins take over to see if he can handle the team. He then explores drafting a QB which would learning from scratch instead of making Collins step up. I think the team is seeing him a simply an older vet to fill in if someone goes down.
I know he (Collins) was not planned to play today according to the team but when thrown in either he had a bad day or he simply was not ready cause to me it sounded like he struggled today. Until the end of practice. Brennen sounded to have had a pretty good day as well as Daniel. Perhaps it's time to get younger there also. Just saying. ;)
