Walt Harris was and is 1000 times better than Leigh Torrence and Marcus Mason is probably the 6th best back on the team counting the Caveman. See, I completely disagree that he is no worse than Betts. Mason racked up his pre-season production when the scrubs were on the field. You think Betts wouldn't look like Priest Holmes against the 3rd and 4th stringers? If Mason was better than Ladell Betts or Even Rock Cartwright he would have made the roster last year. Mason is a liability in pass protection and is not ready to be counted on in prime time. If San Diego (or any other team for that matter) really wanted him they could have given him a real contract. I will spell things out better for you next time. Sorry about that. You didn't have to. I for one knew Torrence sucked. No different then I know Westbrook sucks. I think it says a lot about either our scouting personel or position coach's who think some one will eventually become a super star. but I do like Mason. He atleast gets positive yrds compared to Rock. I would prefer Mason over Rock any day. Plus at this point we have several people who can do exactly what Rock does. Don't forget Betts did the KR job before Rock. Thomas WR did it in college, Hall can do it, and I belive we have used Moss in that capacity atleast once or twice. I think the team could live with out Rock. and just like you and Mason I'm am just as confused about the love fest for Rock. As for my sister visiting you last night........whatever works for you dude.
