dmek25 08-23-2009, 08:41 AM Careful. I'll start posting Bush clips and the epitomy of douchebaggery and incompetence will eclipse anything Paul, Obama, Carter, Reagan, Taft, Clinton, Hoover, Wilson....Helms..well, you get the point. Or maybe you don't. Doesn't matter anyway. Get used to 7 more years of Obama.
now thats funny
dblanch66 08-23-2009, 12:29 PM If the warpath has taught me anything, it's that if it's on a video, then it's indisputable proof.
One or two videos: coincidence.
200,000 plus videos: trend.
saden1 08-23-2009, 01:25 PM And we will certainly miss Tim Russert, he was definitely one of the good guys.
I will give him props on completely dismantling Ron Paul. but I don't know about being a good guy (http://busharchive.froomkin.com/BL2007020801013_pf.htm). Correct me if I am wrong but if you only talk about what you're told you can talk about you're in the business of propaganda.

Bush's inarticulateness and intellectual deficiency is undisputed but at least he has core principles he adheres to regardless of whether you agree with them or not. He doesn't profess to be noble but rather that he is right in his noble actions. Ron Paul on the other hand professes to be noble in both ideas and actions yet his actions never reflect his noble ideas. A man that does not live by the tenets of his core principles is far more wretched than a man whose core principles you disagree with. That is to say it is far more sinister to place an earmark into a bill, vote against the bill and then decry earmarks the next day than to embark on war you believe to be just under false pretense.

What Ron Paul professes doesn't start or end with him. He didn't invent Austrian economics and many of the things that he advocates are already in law. Rob Paul is a reactionary not a radical.
Tim Russert will be missed. That leftist lap dog they have up there now just throws softballs to Democrats and uses sound-bite arguements against the Republicans. Russert actually made them all sweat. Without him I don't watch FTN. Clinton's old lap dog has a better show IMO.
firstdown 08-23-2009, 03:09 PM Everyone says how well OBama speaks but if he does not have a teleprompter in front of him he speaks like I spell.

This is a classic example of how people hear what they want to hear. In this case we're both guilty as charged because I think David Gregory is completely in the tank for the Republicans. I watch MTP religiously and can assure you he's not lobbing soft balls at Dems on his show. In fact, he's had Joe Scarborough on the program twice in as many months. John McCain is a regular on the show and Gregory never challenges the crap that he spews out of his mouth. He'll ask McCain, do you think President Obama is reaching out to Republicans? Like what the eff is McCain suppose to do, hold Obama up to God and call him wonderful? No follow-up questions, no examples of Obama reaching accross the aisle. Nothing. Just let McCain ramble on and then on to the next question. What, last week he had Dick Armey on the program. A few weeks before that, Fred Thompson. Fred freaking Thompson!? Good god man, I'd rather you exume Reagan's corpse and have him on before you put old man Thompson in front of me pretending that he's credible.
I've sat in amazement Sunday after Sunday hoping that Gregory will one day live up to the standard Russert has set only to come away disappointed. We do agree on one thing, however, Steph's show is better than MTP. But not by much.
