Not a new show, but how do The Office fans here feel about Carrel leaving the show after next season? Big loss, no big deal?
He practically makes that show, IMO. Huge loss, but it depends on who they get to replace him.

Honestly I'm not sure how the show would survive, or if it even should. It's getting to the point where I think they should considering ending it before it jumps the shark.
To the show's credit they do a great job at rotating in new characters without missing a beat, so perhaps they could pull it off. Still, I just can't imagine the show without Michael Scott.

W/out Carrel there is no show. To me, it lost its steam somewhere in season 4. Not sure if it was the whole resolution of the Jim/Pam thing or what. Just seems like they are repeating themselves.
I doubt it makes it to Season 7.

Well, Carrel has said he's leaving after season 7, so it's getting at least that far. :)

Every show at some point jumps the shark but the networks must milk them for every cent thus in the end you end up with crappy episodes.
I kind of think HBO seems to have a good feel when to pull the plug.

Wait, what season are we in now? It was this past season that seemed to lack the spark it had in the past. I thought we just finished season 5 and were heading into 6.

The one that just ended was 6

it shouldn't be on anymore if you ask me. it used to be great until holly left then it started snowballing fast, i can't remember the last new episode i watched. the first 4 seasons of that show were great though
what about a show with micheal scarn?
