Has anyone watched House of Cards on Netflix? That show is really solid. Highly recommend it.

That Guy 03-11-2013, 11:33 PM broadchurch is sooo slow. skinsfaninok 03-12-2013, 06:45 AM Boston's finest is great That Guy 03-12-2013, 10:34 AM yeah, i lliked boston's finest. viking ep3 is on the nets. they had/have a web pre-air, if anyone's interested. mooby 03-12-2013, 11:05 AM I have to re-recommend The Americans. It has been really good in my opinion, especially the most recent episode. I concur. Even though I'm pro-American and we already know the outcome, I actually got nervous for the two main characters in the most recent episode. The show's writers do a really good job of making you empathize with the Russians, at least from my experience. ArtMonkDrillz 03-12-2013, 11:18 AM I concur. It almost reminds me of The Wire in that respect, where I'm pulling for the cops to catch the "bad guys" but I'd also like to see them get away. mooby 03-12-2013, 01:23 PM Agreed, but they also have me rooting for Agent Beeman, so it's a really interesting viewing experience. The only difference for me is that in The Wire I felt like I was witnessing a great battle between cops/criminals, but no winner would ever be determined, whereas I feel when I'm watching The Americans that whenever the series does end it will end in American victory. Either way it's an excellent show and I'm looking forward to watching more of it. Idk how FX manages to pull off these great dramatic series, in between The Americans, SOA, and Justified. That Guy 03-12-2013, 02:58 PM I dunno, SoA is a bit ridiculous/silly to me. how many members have died? 11? and 10 of them were killed by other members? sounds like a great social club. MTK 03-12-2013, 03:07 PM I just got into SOA... don't give away too much lol I like it but it's definitely a little over the top at times, I guess that's part of the appeal. mooby 03-12-2013, 03:47 PM I just got into SOA... don't give away too much lol I like it but it's definitely a little over the top at times, I guess that's part of the appeal. I won't lie, there are parts that feel a little over the top, but I've been in it since the second episode of the first season, so ain't no way I'm gonna stop watching now. |
