That's not bad. I've had a couple minor power outages, from what I'm hearing the brunt of the storm is expected to hit my area between midnight and 3 am.

My power has flickered a few times, but holding strong right now. Finger's crossed. I've got the next few days off. Would suck to be without power.

You guys are pretty well inland and the real mustard of the wind speed will be spent as it came over the coast before it got to you.......your lucky as some of those people will be out of power for some days to come as power companies must clear the lines of tree before the lines can be replaced and the power restored.

We have had high winds and drenching rain here, but the power has only flickered once. I was supposed to work today until 3 PM due to an emergency at the plant, but they sent us home at lunch-time because of the detereorating weather conditions...

My house is cursed. Lost power for about 5-6 hours until 10:44 to night. The worst part? Most of the other houses around me except for two others had power just fine. WTF? This is in PG County near UMD.

That's pretty random. You had previous problems with the power going out to your house?

Rain coming down pretty hard and it is very windy here in Columbia, MD. I think (and hope) this is the worst of it. I think the lights flickered a bit, I hope power holds. I have a flashlight with me just in case. I hope everyone is safe.
