And with the 6th pick in the 2012 NFL Draft, the redskins select...........

Out of the two games I watched tonight Rose Bowl and Fiesta Bowl I was impressed with Lucks decision making, Weeden's as well and his accuracy, and Oregons Darren Thomas. I think if Luck and RGIII are off the board then I'd go WR hopefully Blackmon to compliment Hankerson, Moss, and Gaffney. Then I'd take the QB in 2nd round. Maybe I'd look to trading back in other rounds and if another young QB was available I might take a 4th or later round QB for the PS. Hopefully out of the two one steps up and helps out the team so we can sit Grossman.

if you can't get luck/RGIII, sign flynn and draft blackmon/claiborne... whatever happens, don't whiff.

I'm not sure what you numbering system was for? I'm guessing your thinking Bradford if we can trade for him, RGIII if he's available, you lost me with Dalton (Cinci ?) unless there is another Dalton declaring this year there is no way Cinci trades away Dalton. I understand you like Flynn, and Locker? So I'm confused with the numbers 3 and 5. They were just drafted last year and I would presume their teams would like to keep them and see if they become something special. Dalton will be.

The list was made to show how I view previously considered prospects to the two main options this year in RG3 and Flynn. Obviously we won't be acquiring Locker or Dalton anytime in the near future and the chance of getting Bradford is less then 5%.

Redskins will trade up to aquire Robert Griffin III by out biding other teams

The redskins need a QB - desperately. Rex Grossman will not be the guy - he won't even be invited back to camp. I don't even know who john Beck is or even if he is an actual NFL QB. For all I know, he was some guy selling hotdogs when Kyle "discovered" him while "freshening up" in the Fed Ex men's room.

Redskins absolutely have the firepower to move up - the 6th pick this year....a second, a third and next years first.

This won't count, but I'll post it anyway....

Draft Countdown - Trade Value Chart (http://www.draftcountdown.com/features/Value-Chart.php)

The war for the second pick that the Rams do not want will come with a price - a steep one. Other teams will look to trade up at the last minute, driving up the price even higher. Redskins can do without next years first - unless they nab a great prospect, there is no next year. Shanny and crew will will have plenty of time to watch the games on ESPN while they all look for work.

Trading up for Luck is out of the question. The Colts understand how important it is to have a franchise QB. Any deal for Luck would have to include all of Dan the man's money, a cure for herpes and the Washington monument.

This trade will actually involve at least three teams, I expect the Skins to trade pics/players with another team first (Minnesota?) before trading that pick along with this years second to the Rams (the Rams have Stafford and don't want Griffin).

Now, the thing about Minny, is they need a LT - skins will trade Trent Williams, who has undoubtedly fallen out a favor with the front office for a SECOND rounder. Redskins already have a suitable replacement even though no one knows his name - that's because Willie Smith is a football player - not a 'star.'

G.Bush 2012 Draft Profiles (Robert Griffin III) - YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IwzJSw8jJm8&feature=player_embedded#)!

The most important reason that this trade will happen, is that Dan Snyder cannot miss out on an opportunity to flex his mighty wallet muscle. I wish I had one......that is to say, I wish mine were a bit more well developed.

OK, maybe not.....a fan can dream, though, right?

Justin Blackmon looked like a young Terrell Owens out there last night. I'm not one for taking wr's early in the draft, but that guy looked like a man among boys last night. Wow!

I have been saying for quite a while that the draft this year is pretty deep with QB's. I would personally draft Blackmon from Oak St. He is by far the most dynamic and immediate impact playing coming out this year. (if we have the ability to draft him) If not we see what QB is there, but I have a feeling RGIII will be gone (cleveland). Not sure where Tannahill (Texas A&M) will go, but not sure he's worth top 10. I'd try to get Blackmon or maybe slide down a little and pick up Alshon Jefferies from S.Car. I think there are QB's we can get in the 2nd round to develop. THere are some FA out there that can play next year, and we wait to get Barkley. Big gamble here because if Shanny doesn't dramatically improve the W's he may not get a chance for a 4th year.

There is also Kurt Cousins from Mich St. He has a great arm, makes all the throws. He will probably be around mid to late 2nd.

Blackmon is a stud. If he fell to us at #6 I'd have no problem with taking him.

Interesting you and I agree on something, as we hardly ever do. Given your agreement on Blackmon, what QB would you target in the 2nd round (if thats what we do) or would you target a FA if the price was decent.

Or with the possible available FA WR, would you go after one of them aggressively and move up to get one of the QB's.

How about Blackmon at 6, Jayron Hosely CB VA Tech in 2nd, and Matt Flynn?
