Robert Griffin the III, Quarterback, Baylor OR Justin Blackmon Wide Receiver, Oklahoma State.
As this has evolved, I think I prefer the Blackmon pick over Griffin.

Elite Receivers help you get into the playoffs. Elite QB's help you go all the way. Granted if they decide Matt Flynn is their guy I'll root like hell for them to get Blackmon but RGIII will have a bigger impact on this team then any receiver in the league, including the likes of Fitzgerald, Megatron, and Andre Johnson.

Tannehill has raw talent. He has only been starting at QB for a year and a half (previously played WR). His stock will skyrocket once he goes through the combine drills.
That's right, Tannehill can play and his upside-improvement potential may be the best among QB's in this draft!

What you say makes good sense to me; maybe I'm being short sighted but I want some of that immediate improvement. I want some credibility back and since QB's tend to be a dice roll, I think Blackmon is more of a sure thing that could produce a more significant impact.
FYI my local sports talk radio reported yesterday that Flynn is headed to Cleveland in some kind of sign and trade deal for three of the Browns draft picks.
lmao @ sign and trade deal
i think our WRcorps with blackmon would be danerous.... lol depending whos throwing to them
*cough* foles or flynn *cough*

Yeah, I think he meant franchise or transition tag and trade. Sign and trade is pointless in the NFL seeing as how it's use in the NBA is to help teams acquire players when they're going over the cap.
Anyway FWIW I heard that Flynn like many a pro athlete isn't thrilled with the idea of playing in Cleveland even though it makes perfect sense seeing as how Holmgren is trying to shape that team into one that can run his version of the WCO. Honestly I don't know why the idea that a guy like RGIII can't work in a WCO is floating around but if it keeps the Browns from going after him then I say we try to spread that rumor further.

lmao @ sign and trade deal
I had a battle with cancer last year and paid little attention to NFL other than Redskin games. Anyhow the radio talking head said Browns acquired three extra picks in a deal they made last year. Evidently they are quality picks and Packers believe they can solidify their future with this deal. If you can believe sports talk ???, the analyst said the Browns are all-in on the trade if they get a long term deal with Flynn.

Thanks; in remission but not cured. Doing reasonably well.
