Not sure he's any different than the of any of the greats that have played the game. Ask any Hall of Famer and they'd all probably say they wouldn't leave the field even when hurt. Remember Favre against the Saints a couple years ago in the playoffs? The guy was so bruised up afterwards he looked like he was in a car wreck (http://content.usatoday.com/communities/thehuddle/post/2010/02/photos-how-brett-favres-ankle-and-hamstring-turned-purple-after-vikings-loss-to-saints/1#.USQp8KV4U5Q). Can anyone imagine Favre saying that's it, I had enough and pulling himself out of the game? I don't think so.
I think the big difference between older, HOF quarterbacks and Griffin is mobility. Favre was not a huge run threat like Griffin was. If he got hit and bruised it was in the pocket. With Griffin on the run it lends him to put himself in more vulnerable positions to get himself injured. Favre can flop in the pocket and get hit easier than Griffin can on the run in a full sprint.
The issue here is Griffin running and going for that little bit extra instead of sliding and being protected from hits because of rules against hitting sliding quarterbacks. If Griffin would have slid instead of getting lit up by Haloti Ngata, his knee may never have been an issue. He just has to make better decisions finishing runs. If his tweet about not jeopardizing his career is serious, he needs to start with finishing runs smarter.

I hope it's not just to say, "I did it". Do it because you want to play and you're good at it.

When does anyone say the player is behind schdeule? lol. Hope we get a long term deal done w/ Davis. I'd like to see this offense with everyone healthy and ready to go come Sept. I'd also like to see Robinson become a consistent complete wr. He's got the tools and he's got the speed. Hopefully he can take his game up a notch.

Does anyone really think "a source" is not Fred's agent?

The first comment at the bottom of the article sums it up pretty much.
All surgeries are successful … everyone’s rehab is ahead of schedule … every player is going to come back 100%.
Most of the time, it's just a load of smoke being blown up our asses. PR talk.

Guys I've heard critique the new rules....Deion Sanders, Warren Sapp, Rod Woodson, Tom Jackson, Lavar Arrington, Brian Mitchell, Darren Sharper and a wr from GB James Jones...to name a few. I could go on and on. None have lawsuits against the NFL.
I'm sure Junior Seau, Ray Easterling, and Dave Duerson would beg to differ.
