Hey, I was a big fan of Dennis Rodman (the player). No one played as hard as him on the court...sacrificed his body for his team and is the best rebounder of all time.

I clearly have no problem with "different" people. :D

You know it would be fascinating if a player you rooted for all these years said that he was gay. It literally takes away the stereotype of gay guys being wimpy people, by playing in this tough physical sport. A lot of people here were speculating about Manti Teo being gay, yet someone asks who that gay player might be and people start ridiculing and being hypocrites about it "Oh its inappropriate; who cares"

No, it would not be "fascinating," it would be an inappropriate invasion of privacy.

And the "stereotype" you mentioned here actually was taken away a long time ago. The only problem here is that you are WAY behind the times.

I don't either, I find it fascinating. When I was growing up we didn't know any gay people, 40 some years later and now you're finding out NPH is gay and Anderson Cooper. Theres nothing wrong with it, I would just find it fascinating if one of my favorite players (London Fletcher, Santana Moss) were to come out and say "I'm gay" plus I'd give mad props to that player for doing that in a day and age where we still have chris cullivers saying they hate gay players. They had a sports segment of Brian Gumble talking to a rugby star who came out and was ridiculed but then the fans started respecting him and he said he encourages other athletes to do so.

To be fair, Anderson Cooper was very obvious. :D

Who is NPH?

I just don't want any of our players "coming out" for personal publicity that will distract the team. Keep it to yourself...because in this society with this media, it will turn into a distracting circus whether you intended it or not. You're here to play football and win games...you need to be promoting your team, not yourself.

Look what the media has done to Tim Tebow for just being a Christian...they've made him impossible to put on a roster before he even touches a football. They'd do the same for an openly gay player...make his personal beliefs a big news story instead of his on-field performance. Everything is a tabloid story these days.

If they want to be with other men on their own time, that's their choice, but advertising it isn't going to help the team win games. I don't care if you have a thing for only blonde women or Asian men...I care that you help the team put up a W every week. Keep your bedroom business in your bedroom, no matter who you are, gay or straight.

Yes it would fascinating not to your eyes but to millions of other people it would. And that stereotype is still portrayed today on TV, in movies, and other medians of entertainment. Its a stereotype, don't say it isn't around, its still commonly shown today.

Neil Patrick Harris.

Back to the offseason.

Osi looks like he's close to signing with Atalanta per PFT. Glad he's out of the division, he was always disrupting our OL.

That's Canty and Osi gone from that once-intimidating line. JPP had a really disappointing season last year after his rookie year.

Too bad they picked up Cullen Jenkins, although he's at the end his career.

@AdamSchefter: Ravens announced they reached agreement with former Raiders S Michael Huff, the man to replace Ed Reed.

Schefter also saying the texans signed Greg jones as their new FB

My two points went right over your head.

1) What to you is "fascination" is "invasion of privacy" to others. I don't know why you seem so content in your inappropriate "fascination"

2) Others seem to recognize and ignore the stereotype as a stereotype, even if it still exists. You, by your own words, do not have this recognition.
