Luckily there's a movie theater in the area that does $5 movies every day on any movie starting between 4-530 and $1 popcorn and drinks on Tuesdays.

Is it any good? I'm torn on it, I've heard differing opinions on the subject, with some friends saying it's the most badass movie alive and other friends saying it's just another teenage flick about getting laid. Also I'm pretty sure I posted this in this thread a few years ago, but my favorite martial arts movie of all time without a doubt has to be Jet Li's Fearless. It's not even the martial arts that makes me love it, it's the excellent story line. I watched it tonight with a couple friends for the first time in years (thanks Netflix streaming) and it just reaffirmed my love for it. los panda 03-10-2012, 01:53 AM looks like trash to me skinsfanthru&thru 03-10-2012, 03:51 AM Anybody see Project X? Don't know about Project X, will probably wait for rental, but as far as martial arts movies go, you should check out Ip Man if you haven't already. It's about the guy who trained Bruce Lee with Donnie Yen as the lead. That Guy 03-10-2012, 06:17 AM isn't ipp man from like, 2008? JPPT1974 03-10-2012, 07:32 PM Project X is described as a teenage version of the "Hangover." As it does not look good to me either. Sorry. skinsfanthru&thru 03-10-2012, 11:58 PM isn't ipp man from like, 2008? Yep but as he had made mention of Jet Li's "Fearless" from 2006 and it isn't a super well known movie. I love kung fu movies and only found out about it's existence early last year. That Guy 03-11-2012, 12:31 AM just watched once upon a time in the west... kinda slow, but they actually assume you're paying attention instead of repeating the main plot points 42 times. I guess 1968 was a different time. los panda 03-11-2012, 03:53 AM the sting is incredible | |
