Even now, the school still decides the money is bigger than the issues they are currently facing. You want to know why this kind of corruption and sickening behavior angers me? Here you go. Nobody cares, especially the people that should.

Even now the handling of the situation by the university is sickening. Joe and everyone that was involved should be shown the door immediately.

Agreed.

I wish the student body would take a stand or show some sort displeasure on Saturday during the game that the school is handling this wrong. they won't though becasue they are all so brain washed there. Those people supporting him at his house last night? WTF????

IT be great if everyone boycotted the game, won't happen but it be great.

Yup. It's amazing. The story is out, yet they still don't know how to act. F that end of season, retirement, etc. crap. Let him go now. If you're a player in that lockerroom, and lets say hypothetically one of them was sexually abused as a youngster, how could you look at your coach knowing that he knew things like that were happening and he let it continue?

Agree, he should step down immediately, but I kinda felt this is how it would end.

Dont blame Joe Pa, blame the Penn State Molester U. and Admin with not having the balls to take a stance against this kinda behavior. Kinda sickening, and I believe Molester State University did everything in its power to protect Paterno from the authorities. Again its sickening.

Not at Penn State apparently. I'm assuming they value money more than human life.

Send them emails. I plan on doing so.

Dear PSU Board of Trustees,

I’m here to let you know how pathetic it is to allow Joe Paterno to finish out the year as the PSU football coach. You are basically thumbing your noses at the victims by allowing this man, who helped enabled Sandusky molest children, to continue representing your school’s football program. It’s a shame you guys have chosen big money football over what’s right. For this, I could never see your institution as respectable, and I would never allow my children to attend or play for your university. Joe Paterno’s exit should have been immediate, along with the other people who knew and continued to do nothing. There is absolutely no excuse for his inactions, regardless if he filled his “legal obligations”. He had a duty to the kids, to the community, and to the university to do much more, but he chose to look the other way. Even now, you guys could help repair what’s been done and do the right thing, yet you continue to look the other way by allowing him to finish the season. Those kids deserved more from Joe Paterno and your school.

Done and done. I doubt it will get read, or I'll get a personal reply, but it's better than doing nothing.

Dear BoT,

I find it highly offensive that you would continue to retain a coach who apparently thought it best to not inform the police that his former defensive coordinator was raping children, especially after multiple signs it was continuing to happen. The fact that you guys haven't immediately thought about dismissing him shows that your bottom line is money, and not the kids who have experienced serious trauma at the hands of someone who they trusted.

Personally, I hope that anybody who knew anything about what was happening before the story broke is let go immediately. This includes anyone at the university or the BoT. In a few short days, you've managed to wipe out whatever good reputation Penn State had. Congratulations, that's no small feat. Instead of being referred to as Linebacker U, I have no doubt that in the future it will be referred to as Child Rapist U. There's nothing on Earth more despicable than a grown adult who wants to take advantage of a child's innocence. And it's apparent that the people at Penn State, even when they witness something so despicable, don't feel strongly enough about it to notify the police.
