12thMan 11-09-2011, 11:35 AM This is absolutely insane. The breathtaking arrogance of Penn State is reprehensible. I have ZERO respect for Joe Pa. Anybody that watched this go on deserves to be in hell as much as the person that committed the act.

Penn State University Official Athletic Site - Administration (http://www.gopsusports.com/administration/staff-directory.html)
List of staff and emails. Let Joe Pa know what you think of him, and McQueary for advancing his career by keeping quiet.
NC_Skins 11-09-2011, 11:47 AM Penn State Nittany Lions' Joe Paterno to retire at end of season - ESPN (http://espn.go.com/college-football/story/_/id/7211281/penn-state-nittany-lions-joe-paterno-retire-end-season)
On this article, there is a podcast on the right with Jay Bilas destroying Penn State administration, and for allowing them to let Joe Paterno continue coaching.
He makes a great point. Why are people talking about "I need to find out the facts before making a decision." What more is there to know? You hear a old man is taking a shower with a 10 year old kid. What more do you need to know? ...lol
NC_Skins 11-09-2011, 11:52 AM Sandusky abuse claims date back to 1994, grand jury says - CNN.com (http://www.cnn.com/2011/11/07/justice/pennsylvania-coach-abuse-timeline/index.html)
..but..but....guys, I didn't know! Hell, I think at this point with all those allegations and stuff prior to 2002 incident, they should be charging McQueary, Joe Paterno and their school president.
firstdown 11-09-2011, 12:33 PM Not at Penn State apparently. I'm assuming they value money more than human life.
I think at this point keeping him on has nothing to do financially because they have to know the fall out is going to cost them money. I'm guessing he is gone before the end of the yea because of the fincial hit the school is going to take.

Wow, that time line has allot of people who let this thing slide on for 10 yrs. It almost makes you think that each incident at the time did not seem to throw up the big red flag but you put them all together and it seems hard to believe.
NC_Skins 11-09-2011, 01:04 PM Penn State President Graham Spanier will quit or be fired today in wake of Sandusky charges, source says | lehighvalleylive.com (http://www.lehighvalleylive.com/breaking-news/index.ssf/2011/11/penn_state_president_graham_sp.html)
President getting fired. They should have Joe and McQueary on that list too.

This doesn't surprise me and I'm glad that Spanier is taking just as much heat as Paterno. I was concerned that all the focus on Paterno would put Spanier and some other folks under the radar. I think the AD should be fired as well.
freddyg12 11-09-2011, 01:20 PM M. Millen mentioned "due process" & that "taking care of it myself" was not the "right way" to do things. He also said let the investigators do their job.
I think it's best that Joe Pa step down asap. However, that should not mean that he's been conspiring to protect Sandusky all these years. Of course we can say he should've done more, but don't put a disproportionate amount of blame on JoePa. One day he'll tell his side & I think it may change some minds, even if he's still to blame.
On the other hand, I'm open to the possibility that he also used Sandusky for leverage. So, yeah, there's more to learn about this before we crucify anyone (though Sandusky needs a miracle to be found not guilty).
Smootsmack et al, here's a conspiracy theory for ya; remember when JoePa's job was in jeopardy & there was talk of him resigning? Could keeping quiet on this been part of a deal to keep his job?
