I think Stewart was actually right in his comment regarding Sandusky's answer to the "Are you sexually attracted to young boys" question--he almost seemed to be fighting the urge to come clean.

Hoping this isn't true. I don't want to start having multiple molestation threads.

On one hand, I hope it's not true either, but on the other hand I hope that the stories about Sandusky give these kids/adults the strength to speak up now. The more people that were molested as kids that come forward, the better. It's time to speak up and see that those that have done damage are punished.

yes, the more of this that comes to light the better. Horrible that in cases like these, it's the victims that feel the shame.

Agreed. You see reports with quotes from these kids saying they didn't come forward because they were afraid, or embarrassed, felt stupid, etc. but honestly they have nothing to be afraid of. If anyone I knew came out and said they were sexually or emotionally abused as a kid. I feel like I'd give them the utmost support, especially when you consider a lot of pedophiles were abused themselves. It does the most damage when they keep it to themselves.

You know whats the trend outside of molesting itself, is the institution decision to cover up in both cases or not to pursue the truth to protect the program.
This is what is sicking to me, eff the victims Syracuse basketball and Penn State football is more important.
We have a serious problem within our society when this is true.

Were the police involved the first time? I intially though they were not. Campus police wouldnt count. But I imagine we will be hearing more as details emerge. 15 years is a long time, if more victims appear its over.

I hope Boeheim didn't call this alleged victim a liar in the press. This is exactly why child molestation victims are scared to open up. They should suspend Boeheim just for that statement alone. He needs to refer the media to the police and legal entities and talk about basketball.
Fine is in his 35th season as an assistant to Boeheim, who came to his defense.
"I know this kid, but I never saw him in any rooms or anything," Boeheim told ESPN. "It is a bunch of a thousand lies that he has told. You don't think it is a little funny that his cousin (relative) is coming forward?
"He supplied four names to the university that would corroborate his story. None of them did ... there is only one side to this story. He is lying."
