QB Combo Possibilities: Which Do You Want (QB Rumors: Verse 10)

Was telling the mods this morning, I still can't shake the feeling that something's up with this whole move up to RG3 thing.

I mean, for months I'm hearing yeah you know what we're only serious about moving up for Luck. Otherwise we'll take a QB in the first 2nd rounds (along with a free agent) and maybe add some picks. People who have been giving me solid info for a while. Now, almost overnight, these same people are saying "actually you know what, we are all in for RG3.

What suddenly changed?

Maybe it was the interview. Maybe they have had time to hear and see more video of him. I like the crap out of him I'm just not a fan of giving up so many picks. No matter who it is. Had you picked anyone else as a combination with RGIII besides Grossman. I most likely would have voted. I do like Weeden but don't know much about the guy you put with him.

I dont think the trade for the number 2 pick happens until after RG3s pro day

His pro day won't matter one bit. A team has already decided on a player before their pro-day. In fact, if a pro day sells a team into buying a player, then chances are they have shitting scouting or they like to gamble big.

I see RGIII smile and for some reason I think of Eddie Murphy. I know it's weird, but I do.

Sorry screwed up on the post about the pick combination. I'm not a fan of Grossman with RGIII. I rather just see Grossman gone. I like Tannehill but Orton is not some one I'm a fan of either. As someone else said might as well keep Grossman if Orton is even a thought. But I'd prefer neither. I'd be happier if they picked up 2 QB's one in the first round and one in the second vs. keeping Grossman or adding Orton.

This is how I see it, and how I think the Skins probably do too

Plan A: Griffin
Plan B: Manning
Plan C: Orton

Plan C will really really depress me. Orton is just Grossman spelled wrong.


Plan C depresses me too. In my eyes Orton is a Rex with less interceptions. I dont want any parts of having him on the roster. I would rather start on of those 2nd teir rookies then mess with Orton.

BTW I am sick of hearing about us try to get someone failed project of a QB. Orton, Henne, Sanchez etc.....

If we cant get RG3, I would be down for a Hoyer/Tannehill combo.
