The whole bidding/not bidding with your divisional rivals seems silly to me. It is almost a cliche. If the Seahawks give the Rams what they want why would the Rams care that they play in the same division. I can see this kind of holding water with a veteran player but RG3 has never even played in the league.

I think of it this way. You're Kuwait. You have a nuclear missile for sale. Bidding for said missle is the US, Canada, UK, Turkey, and Iran. Iran offers you the most money for the missle. Do you sell to the highest bidder?

To me you only go through with a trade to Seahawks if you believe theres a huge chance that RG3 will be a dud. Otherwise you're risking making the Seahaks an annual threat to win your division.

Ditto. Not wanting to trade within the division is a valid reason. If you believe RGIII is any sort of player you don't want to trade him to a team you'll face off against twice a year.

Missile technology is so advanced nowadays that they can be shot from virtually anywhere in the world and hit the country they want.

Alternative meaning: (You have to play them and win in the playoffs/super bowl anyway to win a championship, so what difference does it make?)

Yeah but what if they have Metal Gear Rex?
By using a rail gun rather than rocket propellent, a warhead could be launched that would be undetectable. This also exploited a specific loophole that existed in anti-nuke treaties, since weapons fired from a rail gun were not technically ballistic, so limitations on ballistic weaponry did not apply. A country could therefore use REX to secretly attack any desired target without fear of retaliation through military or legal force

A quandary that remains to be answered... What if we used nuclear carrier pigeons?

African swallows would be better. They've been known to transport coconuts.

That maybe true but i GTD that is low on the list if the Seahawks give them a great deal. If the Rams think so highly of RG3 that they are afraid to loss to him twice every year they should probably draft him.

To say the Seahawks are out of the RG3 race with a trade to the Rams to acquire him is just plain stupid.

yeah I wouldnt say they're out of it but considering the fact that they already have to give up quite a bit to move up that much and the fact that they would need to sweeten the deal to trade with a division rival would make it difficult for them. More importantly, Pete Carroll is weird so he'd probably take Osweiler at 12 over trading up for RGIII.

What about a European swallow?

According to Shanahan they don't have the cardiovascular endurance to carry a coconut.
