Not only that, if we're as shitty as some people think we'd be with Peyton, we'll stilll have a chance at a top QB AND still have the picks to make the trade if need be.

I want RGIII or Peyton, but I'm happy with either.

I think we saw the value of PM has on a team from watching the Colts last season. That same Colts team last year is a playoff team if Peyton woulda played.

Who's to say that there will be a top QB available or WORTH taking down the road? Not every draft has multiple, or even one single, franchise viable QB prospect. That is a bigger risk then "rolling the dice" on RG3. You can evaluate RG3's ability to be a franchise QB better than a sophomore or freshman QB in college currently playing.

I think the Redskins have a much wider range of viable options at quarterback than just RGIII or Peyton Manning. Though you'd have to search hard to find the guy that believes one or the other wouldn't work here. I believe each will come with unintended consequences, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't do it. Just always be prepared to deal with unforseen complications.

I think that is hard to state with great certainty. They have a lot of issues that were not addressed and had a lot of injuries. Peyton Manning may be a field commander, but he's not an Alaskan medicine man with healing powers.

Yeah, well I dont know how much more faith I have in the Shannys with finding those others QB and rather just go with the guys who seem to have the most talent. McNabb and Rex/Becks choices were just awful.

With pm they would have won 8 at least

That's not a playoff team last I checked unless you are in the West division.

Maybe that's who we should be trading up for.

I am just saying that some team is going to find that quarterback that isn't Luck, RG3, or Peyton Manning, and it's that move that will put them in the playoff hunt.

I can't look at past history and give you a compelling reason to believe that said team will be the Redskins.

I'd give 4 picks for him.
