I actually could see the Rams just keeping the pick only if we don't cave in.. Cleveland says they wont but then again they are even more desperate

So Manning can play 3 years and Weeden can be essentially a 31 year old rookie? Yeah I'll pass on Weeden there. BTW if we sign Manning do you all think we will win the Super Bowl in year one or two? If not, why sign him? C'mon Free Agency. A. I agree on the weeden scenario. B. Why Manning? Because even if we dont win a SB w him I'd still rather be 9-7 or 10-6 for 3 years than 5-11 or 6-10. For me its PM or RG3 thats it. TheMalcolmConnection 03-04-2012, 09:06 PM A. I agree on the weeden scenario. B. Why Manning? Basically, I just want us to improve so that Shanahan and Allen can build the team the right way. I just don't want us to tank another year, have Shanahan and Allen canned and begin again. There are plenty of teams who can be in the mid to later rounds of the first that can choose a QB of the future. We don't have to constantly suck and pick in the top five for that. skinsfaninok 03-04-2012, 09:31 PM I'd agree to a point with you on QB options. I know it seems like some here think RG3 is a sure bet but I'm telling u history has shown one of these 2 won't be a true franchise qb Lotus 03-04-2012, 09:34 PM I think they would just take Blackmon or Kalil Yes. But they could probably trade with us and still get Blackmon. That's why it would behoove them to eventually cave for even a cheap trade offer. TheMalcolmConnection 03-04-2012, 09:36 PM I know it seems like some here think RG3 is a sure bet but I'm telling u history has shown one of these 2 won't be a true franchise qb Sure, and we've all been stung before by this, but sometimes you never know if you don't try. I'm willing to try, just as much as I'm willing to give PM 2-3 years while keeping all our draft picks and continuing to build the team. EARTHQUAKE2689 03-04-2012, 09:37 PM For me it's 95% RGIII, 1% Manning, 4% I'm blowing up Redskin Park SkinzWin 03-04-2012, 09:38 PM Sure, and we've all been stung before by this, but sometimes you never know if you don't try. EARTHQUAKE2689 03-04-2012, 09:39 PM History would also tell you that Phillip Rivers, Eli Manning, or Ben Roethlisberger would be a bust. tryfuhl 03-04-2012, 09:40 PM A.
