Your media deferences comments are idiotic. And this is nothing at all like what's happening in Tampa. Mike won't be fired, but he may move on. Because who wants to be a lame duck HC after all he's accomplishedAre you sure he's wired that way? I know I personally am wired that way, but I kind of feel Mike is a coaching lifer who would rather slug through a no-win situation than leave on his own terms.
Also: he had the opportunity to leave Denver on his own terms, and didn't.

So I assume we're going to see AJ Smith become the next GM?
My personal opinion is that it's very possible

I would hate if this happened. I like to think that AJ Smith played a very big hand in letting all of the talent walk from San Diego. Sure Norv had some blame in that, but they were drafting bad towards the end of AJ's tenure, and they weren't doing a good job replacing the talent they were letting walk, like V.Jax. It was like they thought that Phillip Rivers could win a SB all by his lonesome.

Roll with that
Indeed let's keep rolling. I've already heard several of the talking heads comment negatively about Tampa and Schiano, like the "results are in." The results are also in for this regime, regardless of how long we live with them. If not deference, then what synonym to you prefer?

You have the best opinionated responses on this site. Makes me laugh.

I think it was our offer- He was given all immunity and power, something he didn't have in Denver. Mike essentially is the boss of BAllen in that Mike has final say. Mike is also the highest paid coach in the league. He wants to get into the HOF. He also has been dragging his son along with him the entire since the days of Denver (I saw little Kylie on the sidelines during the Super Bowl). Mike is simply taking everything that is being given to him and laughing behind closed doors.

I'd like to see what Bruce Allen can do for the team with a full salary cap intact.
No way we should fire him before we see those results. One more year minimum.
He's done a great job considering the circumstances with what he's had it work with AND clean up after Vinny left.
Allen can't be blamed for what Haslett has failed to do on defense (I still think we're better suited as a 4-3) and Kyle's pitiful playcalling and mis-use of RGIII.
Mike and Bruce stay, new OC and DC.
