I let him walk now or extend him, likely the former. I don't go into next off-season with a lame duck HC
Have you heard that may be the word round town?

SmootSmack 11-08-2013, 01:48 PM Wow, you surprise me sometimes. What are you talking about? BaltimoreSkins 11-08-2013, 01:57 PM How about Greg Roman? skinsfaninok 11-08-2013, 02:08 PM SF and I have been high on Roman for a while BaltimoreSkins 11-08-2013, 02:13 PM SF and I have been high on Roman for a while They have a lot of good coaches in the wings. I think if we don't grab them then someone else will. I just don't want a retread situation. skinsfaninok 11-08-2013, 02:15 PM They have a lot of good coaches in the wings. I just don't want a retread situation. yeah I say no to Gruden or cowher jerry or jerruh jones once said "No super bowl winning coach has ever won a SB with more than 1 team as a HC" Bucket 11-08-2013, 02:17 PM Only coach I would consider taking over for Shanahan is Briles The Goat 11-08-2013, 02:22 PM What are you talking about? Your conciseness on the fork in the road and which direction you're looking. I thought you'd back Shanny to the (bitter) end. skinsfaninok 11-08-2013, 02:26 PM I don't want a college coach , historically they don't work out. Has he ever coached in the NFL? Bucket 11-08-2013, 02:35 PM I don't want a college coach , historically they don't work out. Has he ever coached in the NFL? Historically a lot of college coaches do work out. It's about finding the right one. The guy averages over 700 yards of offense a game in college and was RG3 Head Coach. Here is a nice article on him about his playbooks. ESPN NCAAF Briles' offense built around each QB (http://m.espn.go.com/ncf/story?storyId=9833069&src=desktop&wjb) Not every college coach is Spurrier. |
