Ramsey wants to be traded (merged)

Ramsey threw for more yards in 1 quarter than Brunell did the rest of the game. I'm PISSED at this decision, I think its a bad one. I'm glad Ramsey wants to be traded, he couldnt be treated more unfarily right now. How is he supposed to react when Gibbs stuck with Brunells POOR ass for like 10 weeks last season, and benches Ramsey after a FREAKING quarter. This is freaking bullcrap. Thats all I can really say so far cause I havent had time to read through the posts/news so I dont totaly know whats going on, just got home form the game.

quit questoning Gibbs , you critics, who call yourselves skins fans will never be the poop that is wiped off of gibbs' ass. Let the legendary Coach do what he came her to do. He didnt ask for Ramsey, he was a left over from a coach who was a complete disaster for us. Brunell looks ALOT better than last year, and good enough to win games for us. It was just Brunell last year. i cant believe no one has mentioned this yet... Our wr's sucked, look at Moss after the catch than coles, thats why coles was brought here, and never amounted to shit, especially after the catch yardage. Then you look at our running game last year with missing important right tackle, you know who.... and having shit for centers...and oh yeah, our 50 gut runs and counter treys with a 210 lb running back. Ummmm you think its all Brunells falt last season? I admit, he doesnt have the deep touch, but if you look at the midrange vs ramsey, its better. its better we dont have to watch ramsey make two great throws to blow it 70% of the time. its better we dont have a guy who will tuck and duck every time there is pressure or just throw a pic. brunell can leave the pocket and make a play or throw it away. brunell has grown more comfortable in this offense whether you like it or not. NO, he's not our future, and now we pretty much know..even if ramsey stays the whole season that he is not either. thanks im out

Last I checked Gibbs was 6-10 last year and human just like the players and those criticizing, so to say no one can question him is just ludicrous. He does deserve respect for his past history. If you call making a play a role out and a 2 yard dump 100% of the time then Brunell is our guy. Let's go light up the board with 110 yards passing, 2 first downs, 1 third down conversion, and the miracle that everyone thinks will win us games 0 interceptions. I hope I am wrong, but seeing what I saw last year and the fact that Brunell showed any improvements this year were against 2nd string secondary and people who are not on teams and I can assure you they aren't on a team because they are not good enough to play at a pro level. Live action against a first string D yesterday 70 yards and no TDS.

and your judging him on 1 quarter right? since he never got more than 15 minutes or so this season, I don't think we'll really know... I know i don't want to watch any more 80yd passing games though with masive 3 and outs and punting.

incase you havent noticed, we've seen ramsey for what, 3 years and a preseason? i understand the new schemes and all that, but the mechanics arent there. if im wrong then im wrong, but ramsey just doesnt fit in this system. and i just dont see his "potential" with us. id rather watch a 80 yard passing game (with limited int's) then see three TO'S anyday

well, if we're judging by LAST YEAR, brunell is worse than awful. 3-6 in games brunell started, 3-4 with ramsey.

I think ramsey's faults are less damaging overall than brunells.

For someone who thinks he knows so much about football and Gibbs were you old enough to even see Gibbs coach because by the looks of your age and bashing of people when I am coaching pee wee football you would be on the team and Brunell would be your starting QB. Keep your young comments to yourself until you have actually seen a Redskins winning team on TV and Gibbs turn it around, which I hope he does.

What makes YOU think you're so superior? because you side with gibbs? He went 6-10 last year, we stunk, there's no reason why he should be considered infallable.

you obviously know more than all of us though, since you obviously HAVE been on the sidelines, or else you wouldn't be questioning others for not having the requisite creditials you must surely possess :P

I dont really give a crap about any of this. I'M QUESTIONING HIM. How in the HELL do you go with Mark Brunell right now? What has he done to gain his starting job back? Point blank, our offense is more explosive with Patrick Ramsey in at quarterback. I dont like Gibbs right now at all. He lied right to everyone. "Patrick's my guy, Patrick is my starter" BULL FREAKING SH*T! Now, NO ONE is going to respect our pass. Portis is going to have 11 guys keying in on him every play, and our offense is going to suck again.

Edit: I just found out about this, so I'm pretty pissed, thats why my posts are so pissy.

Not everything said on ESPN ends up being true, but it seriously sounds like this is just a one week thing to me. Why rush Ramsey back when (in Gibbs' eyes) we have a backup that can play? Give Ramsey time to heal completely.

Like I said, I don't know anything for sure here. Yes, it could be that Gibbs is putting Brunell in for the long run. No, I don't agree with it. I was all for Ramsey starting last season, and you know what? People have bad games. It happens. I cannot imagine that Gibbs would wait and wait to take Brunell out, go with Ramsey, and then put Brunell back in after ONE bad half of a game. How can a sub-100 yard passing attack inspire a change in QBs?

In summary, I don't think it's for longer than a game or two. I could be totally wrong here, that's just how I see it.

he's not HURT HURT HURT, gibbs said he was fine and this wasn't an injury situation on air. he felt like brunell gave them a better chance right now.
