Yeah...he reminds me a lot of Barry Sanders, and I beleive Barry to be the best ever.
Boy, if it wasnt for that whole Steve Young thing we would probably agree on alot... I agree with your assesment of Sanders also. I see the similarities with Jones-Drew and Sanders, but the jury is still out yet... I have to give a couple of years yet to say that he is the next Barry...

I don't MJD has the top speed nor the elusiveness of Barry. But as far as size and burst, I see it.

I've noticed that too. It's shame I can't convert you to thinking Steve Young was one of the best ever.

I agree with redskins8588...just give it a couple years. Jones Drew is the closest I have seen since Barry retired.
By the way...Barry was not the fastest in terms of top speed...he would get run down, what made Barry, Barry, was his ability to bounce off closed holes and make defenders miss.

Dunno man...I just went a rant about what real basketball is all about in the lebron thread.
I used to coach basketball, and I watched these kids practice on how to celebrate more than focus on practicing. It made me sick, so I ran them until they were sick. Those kids never celebrated until the final buzzer sounded. If they did...it was time to run themselves til they puke.

Saw your post. First basketball game I went to was a Spurs game at the Alamo Dome, so I got some love for them. They were playing your Celtics ironically. I really don't see how they can't be liked, apart from the fact that people like to knock others down when they're up. And SA has been up for nearly a decade now. I think that's a class organization from top to bottom.
Ok, let's talk about something else now

No problem...BTW, I love that City. The riverwalk is a load of fun and quite relaxing.
So what's new in your life?
