Speaking of hospitals and babies, did anyone see Knocked Up?

Definitely one of THE greatest comedies ever and the comedy of the summer since no really good comedies have been released so far.

I HIGHLY recommened you see it before they pull it from theaters.

And the incentive for guys: It was directed by Judd Apatow. 40 Year Old Virgin.

Laughed till I cried. But then again, I'm easily amused so it's not too hard ;) lol

I was a qb and an LB, I could help if needed!

Yeah, I played WR, CB, KR and situational RB . I was alright, not the greatest (speed aside), but I flashed every once in a while. I am taking an assistant pop warner job this upcomming season. My goal is to be coaching HS football on the side by the time my son is in middle school. I can dream can't I?

Get in trouble? What am I twelve? Seriously, my wife is cool as hell. She actually enjoys the time alone with the newborn after visiting hours are over. She is giving birth at Holy Cross.

I know Shady Grove Hospital well. I had to rush my best friend there in high school one night to get an epinephrine shot. We were out at Swain's Lock smoking pot and drinking beer and being 17. Well my buddy is allergic to peanuts, and in a wasted haze he decided to shovel a mouthful of Nutter Butters. Not good!

SS, you're a Potomac guy. You know Swain's Lock- down by the Canal off River Road....

My wife saw it while I was golfing with my dad. I wait until movies come out on DVD. There are only a select few that I will actually go to a theatre and watch.

Absolutely, just five minutes from my parents' house. Just a couple of minutes from Dan Snyder's house as well

For sure. It was a fun place to go and sit by the water. Kind of off the beaten path. I haven't been there in years....

I wasnt trying to blow you off. I am always open to critism about coaching kids up on certain positions. My areas of expertise are discipline, execution, and schemes. I am not necissarily good at teaching positional techniques. My problem in HS was relying too much on talent and knowing my responsibility. I had the worst technique at every position I played.

Absolutely. It will be tough if your not employed in the school system, but it can be done. Good luck to you.
I had a spectacular arm, and very, very good speed. So I made a very good qb, but on the flip side, I wasn't as dedicated as I should have been for a QB.
On the other side, I had the dedication to be an LB and the heart, but I was small. I would hurt myself as much as I would hurt the other guy...and I would hit with all I had. I have a linebacker's heart.

I didn't think you were blowing me off.
I teach positioning and proper techniques. I can maximize the player's effectiveness if they have less talent. The ones with talent I can really help and refine their skills. I am a much better LB coach than a QB coach though.

They have been spotting black bears in our area today. This is really strange considering bears are common only to the mountains and the coast. I live in the central part of NC and I have never heard of bears being in this area. They spotted two bears and some cubs in Greensboro and one near High Point University this morning only a mile or so from where I work. They shot and killed one bear last week in a town just southwest of us.

The Wildlife officials have said they will not capture the bears if they see they are heading back towards the mountains. Wouldn't it be easier to capture them and transport them back? I don't see the logic in letting them roam through backyards and across highways.
