No problem...BTW, I love that City. The riverwalk is a load of fun and quite relaxing.
So what's new in your life?
Yeah riverwalk was a lot of fun, got a little old after a few days though. We went during Christmas time
Same old, working like crazy. It's exhausting. Looking forward to this weekend. Of course, I have to work and do some stuff around my apartment. But it'll be nice to just have some time to myself.
You start your new job yet?

The 4400 returns this Sunday night on USA Network. I like that show. It's not jawdropping, just fun summer viewing.

My wife and I almost moved there a couple years back. We have some friends there and go about once a year. In fact we are thinking of going there this weekend (it's about a 6 hour drive).
Yeah, I started yesterday, and I'm in training. It's a lot more relaxed and fun. My boss is somewhat of a spaz. I swear she's on cocaine.

Good evening to you Lady Brave...and thank you. It's nice to be able to laugh at your job, and actually make an effort to enjoy it.
So how are things with you?

Pretty good. I have an early staff meeting in the morning. Ugh...
One of our Majors is coming and I'm planning on cornering her about upgrading my position. That should be fun.

Sounds a little stressful! I know that is never fun, I wish you the best of luck. I am assuming this will mean a pay raise as well?

It's really not about money, but I could qualify for a 5% increase. It's more about the fact that I do the exact same job as three other employees and have trained two of them, yet I am a pay grade lower. Our policy dictates positions with like duties must be classified the same, so I don't see how they can justify why I'm classified lower than the others. I'm an admin. asst. to a Captain for pete's sake, yet I am the lowest pay grade employee in our department.

That doesn't sound right at all. Good for you for sticking up for yourself. Those that are content to sit on the sidelines all their lives are destined for failure. Go get em Lady Brave, I know you can do it!
