BDBohnzie 09-28-2016, 03:53 PM I have a Pernicious in my fridge. Glad they've finally made it to the area. Just need MD to step up their game and let all these breweries sling their wares in stage. Re: Yuengling - Brother In law's favorite beer. Easy drinking. Give these a try: If You Like Yuengling, You Should Try These 5 Beers Too — Tapped In | The Kitchn (http://www.thekitchn.com/if-you-like-yuengling-you-should-try-these-5-beers-too-tapped-in-205463) Flying Dog hosts a Movie Series at the Weinberg Center in Frederick. Happy Hour ($4 FD beers, usually have 4-5 to choose from, a few brewery reps hang out and answer questions) before the movie starts. Only bummer is no alcohol in the theatre itself, so you slam a few in the lobby beforehand. 1st Movie (The Big Lebowski) is tonight: Flying Dog Film Series | Weinberg Center for the ArtsWeinberg Center for the Arts (http://www.weinbergcenter.org/flying-dog-film-series-2016-2017/) I've been slacking lately on the beer front. Time and money have been 2 factors. Going to grab some new stuff this weekend. May even slide down to Leesburg to grab some WW. over the mountain 09-30-2016, 02:31 PM What the hell is going on w RAR and Manor Hill? For the past year, every time you stepped into any beer store you could count on these 2 local brewers to have super fresh beer. Consistently, every single time. Canned within 15 days fresh. Those 2 became my go to, easy drinker IPAs. I havent seen Manor Hills IPA on the shelves in over a month and every RAR Nanticoke either doesnt have a dob date or has a 7/11/16 date. Got some more wicked weed (gose and golden ale), disappointed i havent seen Pernicious yet. Yet again, only real fresh IPA beer I could find was grapefruit sculpin. Lagunitas Sucks has a fresh batch in the area now. Date 9/02. The Pernicious I got was 9/09 and that was last week. The Truth is always my go to for fresh IPA. Its almost always fresh. Giantone 10-01-2016, 07:52 AM Yeah you get an email everyday, if you like the offer you just respond with how many you want. Haven't seen anything yet that interests me. That's what I thought but after two weeks nothing. punch it in 10-01-2016, 09:23 PM Pumpkin time. New Belgium Pumpkick and UFO Pumpkin to start. Love the Pumpkick. Love anything New Belgium. BaltimoreSkins 10-02-2016, 08:13 AM Went to Oktoberfest in Carroll County to celebrate my big 4-0 yesterday. The beer was from Pub Dog Brewery in Federal Hill/Columbia. The Oktoberfest Marzen was one of the better Oktoberfesst I've had. On a personal note I brewed a new IPA recipe well balanced with Columbia and Chinook hops it is solid. I am going to brew a Maple Amber Ale to have ready for Halloween when I take the kids out trick or treating. I'll let you know how that comes out. MTK 10-02-2016, 11:10 AM That's what I thought but after two weeks nothing. Did you sign up correctly or check your junk mail? I get daily emails. Grabbed a mixed 6er at my local spot here in Frederick last Friday and saw Nanticoke Nectar cans dated 9/26. I didn't look at the Groove City cans (Hefes, am I right?). Haven't looked for Manor Hill IPA lately. I know both breweries are hellaslammed with all their different things going on. But 7/11 Nectars is not cool at all. I'd hit up rar and let them know when and where you're finding those. over the mountain 10-05-2016, 11:51 AM BD - I just grabbed a "9/26 justin tucker" sixer of nanticoke on monday. I sent RAR an email last week and havent gotten a reply. Really want to stop by the brewery on the way to OC this spring. BaltSkin - nicely done sir. |
