i dont like to drink during the work week but sometimes when the terps play on a weeknight it has a football sunday feel and i like to drink a couple.
problem is most beers are 7% and up, you drink 4 or 5 and your groggy the next day.
tried new belgium's session ipa. at 4.5% it was tasty and after drinking 4 last night, im good to go today.
Session IPAs are money if you find a good one. Lagunitas Daytime and Founders All Day are great. Heavy seas just released Crossbones which I haven't had yet and Flying Dog has Easy IPA which is good. They are great when you want to have a few but not get tore up.

Anybody had an IPA recently they didn't like?
A lot of brewers are trending towards more drinkable sessions styles these days which is definitely a good thing.

I'll list a couple that are just not my favorite, no 1 is a va brewery star hill and it's called northern lights. Sux. Serra Nevada torpedo, sam Adam latitude, dogfish head 60 minute, stone arrogant bastard "strong ale", devil backbone 8 point ipa and never a fan of the victory hop devil.
Couple average I'd say new Belgium ranger, goose island, and smutty nose
DFH 60 minute and Torpedo are two of my favs.

I think with torpedo is it has a "syrupy" taste to it...I taste this sometimes with hoppy beers. Dunno what it is.

Natty Green beers taste skunky. And anything with "hops" or "hoppy" in the name tastes like a soda fountain is on the fritz, and not putting out enough syrup.
Filled up a growler of this yesterday
Hop To It IPA | Argyle Brewing Company | Greenwich, NY | BeerAdvocate (http://www.beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/34506/131026/)
Small brewery in my hometown, they started up about a year ago, just wanted to give them a shout.
Our Story (http://argylebrewing.com/our-story/)
My tiny ass hometown in Greenwich NY where I graduated with about 80 other kids and they have an awesome brewery, literally a 5 minute walk from where I lived growing up. Great beer made by some great guys living their dream. It's really what beer is all about.
