@OTM - Trust me, I had been planning to hang out with a buddy of mine who lives in West OC for about 5 months now. Took us that long to nail down a weekend. Just glad I finally found time where we weren't busy with family stuff.

Anyone using the Untappd app to track your beers?
I do: BDBohnzie54

Had some friends over Saturday evening, so I grabbed a few 6ers and had some friends bring different beers.

Lancaster Brewing's Winter Warmer Ale (http://www.lancasterbrewing.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=115&Itemid=189) - I loved last year's version, and this one I think is better. Great winter spice bite. Very drinkable.

Sixpoint Brewery's Global Warming (http://sixpoint.com/blog/recent/introducing-the-sixpoint-global-warmer/) - My first beer from Sixpoint, and found it quite tasty. Imperal Red IPA, good hop bite.

Breckenridge Brewery's Vanilla Porter (http://www.breckbrew.com/brews/vanilla-porter) - Decent porter. Wasn't fantastic but worth trying.

Newcastle Werewolf - Decent red ale for a macrobrew.

Instead of dessert, I opted for a DuClaw Sweet Baby Jesus topped with homemade whipped cream. Whipped cream soaked up the chocolate peanut butter porter and was delicious.

I was in Disney last week. Glad to be back.

What a trip, dragging a 3 and 6 year old through those parks is no easy task.Every single person in my family at some point had a break down.

Haha. Yeah mine are a little older, 5 and 8. They're just past the nap stage. We still tried to pace ourselves, building in a break in the middle of most afternoons. But yeah, it's the best vacation I can imagine but you do need to make sure you take a day at home before heading back to work just to recover. Exhaustion doesn't even describe it.

I have not enjoyed the beers I've tried from them. Been a few years since I tried them though, maybe I should give them another run. They can change over time, for sure.

schneed - i usually stick to american beers for freshness purposes but im gonna try adn find the 2 beers you mentioned ... shouldnt be too hard to remember Unibrow

Both of those two particular beers I linked to are bottle-conditioned so they should actually get better with age.

Just remember Anthony Davis's face while you're drinking it, you'll never forget!

im installing the app now .... does it allow you to keep track of the beers you try and then share with others, see what others thought?

Yup, it's like facebook for beers, you share your reviews, pics, and where you drank them

I had master of disguise by Stone this weekend, tastes and smells like a stout but looks nothing like one.

I only started drinking their beers recently. Their Milk Stout is pretty good, their double chocolate milk stout (tap only) is heavenly.
