All the Luponics have been awesome. Have yet to see Luau Krunkles. If you can find it grab some Lagunitas Born Yesterday, it is phenomenal.

IPA Survival Kit - Terrapin Beer Company (http://terrapinbeer.com/brew/year-round/ipa-survival-kit/)

I usually don't buy these type of multi-packs, but early Spring my local Kroger started supplying these and becuase I'm a fan of the hopsecutioner and couldn't find the sixers near me I got this....good choice

This survival kit is fuckin awesome...even the session is tasty. I gotten a couple cases and starting this October they started packing these with a krunkles with A Hawaiian twist. I've gotten it twice this month and it's tasty.

The other multi pack IPA i roll with is the Stone brewery kind...which needless to say is heady.

I'll keep my eye open for that laganitas

Born Yesterday is awesome. Haven't had this year's yet, but a buddy of mine has a bottle waiting for me.

Haven't have No 003 yet, but Luponics 001 and 002 were quite good (I believe another buddy has a can of 003 waiting for me). I talked to a FW rep about 001, and he wouldn't give me the hop bill...they are keeping it close to vest.

Go out and get some Born Yesterday. Its all over and easy to find. I've already gone through a case and a half. Its one of the only beers I buy by the case.

This current batch of Born Yesterday is fresh hopped -- were all the past Born Yesterday's also fresh/wet hopped? I dont remember but i thought they did a release during the non-harvest season.
This batch is good, drank 2 sixers this weekend, dob of 10-17-16. Also had some Founders Harvest Ale, it was a month old but still good.

Born Yesterday - Fresh Hopped
Born Again Yesterday - Wet Hopped

I had a bottle share last night with some friends for WWE Hell in a Cell, and got 2 bottles of Born Yesterday.

Since Burley Oak is no longer canning Secret Sauce, they are going to play with different beers for distro. Bilsner and Homegrown are 2 of their current 12oz 6 packs. Both are crushable session beers. Homegrown is close to Lagunitas' 12 of Never, but at 4%, much easier to drink 12 :D

I could just google this (and have several times) .. but what is the diff btw "wet hop" and "fresh hop"? I thought they were the same, throwing in whole cone freshly harvested (not-freezer dried pellet) hops.

burley oak secret sauce - i just didnt like that beer despite ppl constantly saying good things about it and recommending it.

Every year i get a sixer of Troegs mad elf .. and every year I dont like it. When will I learn.

Fresh Hop, Wet Hop, What’s the Difference? – Washington Beer Blog (http://www.washingtonbeerblog.com/fresh-hop-wet-hop-whats-difference/)

I had never looked it up before, but yeah seems like it's essentially the same thing (learn something new every day and all). They describe their "wet" hop process on the Born Again Yesterday page: https://lagunitas.com/beers/bornagainyesterday. Seems like they figured out how to "preserve" some of the hops they get for Born Yesterday (maybe quick freeze?) and use the same process on them 6 months later for Born Again? Who knows...all I know is both beers are ridiculously good.

Grabbed a mixed 6er of stouts yesterday at my local shop, and found they had both Burley Oak Bilsner and Homegrown. So I'm happy about that...both are great beers to crush during a session and are cheaper than Secret Sauce and Sorry Chicky (which is by far my favorite Burley beer). Yeah, Secret Sauce was always a bit off for me. It's a decent beer, but wouldn't be my first reach for a MD IPA.

I like Mad Elf ok. I can't have a 6er of it, so I'll grab a pint while I'm out. Definitely a different bird.
