Caboose make some decent beers. They have 2 on tap at MakeOffice in Reston, where my company rents office space.
otm: Nice. I saw Sip land at a few places in DC, but didn't get down to get any. One of the best IPAs in the country. Bar none. Did you happen to get any of the 3 Stars collabs that dropped on Tuesday?
Anyone partake in the CBC festivities this past week? Lots of quality beer not usually available in the area floating around...

Firestone's luptonic no. 6 was pretty dang good.
Sierra Nev beer camp was kinda disappointing. i really liked the tree house offering. Really hope they choose that one to do a second or third production on.
Black flag out of columbia md has started canning. their flagship ipa is okay, didnt really enjoy the mamba sauce one.
3 star - i forget if I did. that was a crazy week. soo many collaborations. i think i ended up getting a case of sip o sunshine when it was all said and done.

I had to stop drinking Tennessee whiskey bout year and half ago. I told myself when I returned I had to grow up with it. Yes, scotch. Nothing else now. I do like blends...and Johnnie Walker black has become my go to. Guy at work...higher pay grade too...got some blue and platinum. Which is good, but damn I like a lil bit in my black. Scotch anyone? What u like?

lol .... no, it took me a while but I behave like a normal person now.
Parabola - only got 1 bottle this year, so so good. I was trying to "cellar" it for a year to let it get all thick and mealy but couldnt resist.

I have 2 from this year and one from last. Once you get by the initial urge its easy. The hard part is finding the occasion to drink them. I had a 6 pack of 2011 120 minute ipa I stretched out 6 years. Drank one every christmas eve.

I try not to keep crushable beers in the fridge during the work week to fight the urge (ales, sours, saison etc) and normally can resist the urge on special stouts that I tuck into the out-of-sight corner of my fridge ..... but eventually I cave and end up cracking one open on a random work night. I had this bottle of parabola in the fridge for a few months so i put up a good fight.
Bottle of prairie bomb is the last man standing currently.
malice by wicked weed going to try this weekend. i really liked their brettanomyces farmhouse w fermented peaches, this one has fermented blood orange, lime zest, chiles.
maine's "thank you 2017" - brand new, a red ipa which isnt my fav style but a new beer from maine cant be passed on.

Larimer brewery, i think they are brand new out of Colorado. Rodmans just got their NE Ipa and sour last week.
IPA called "regulators", super fresh, less than 10 days old when i drank it, def a NE type beer, thick, juicy, fruity but the 1st half of the first beer had this odd kinda off putting taste on the back end of it. maybe it was the pineapple but i remember thinking they chose the slightly wrong combo of hops. The more i drank the less i noticed that back end taste. Really good, better than the reviews and ratings ive seen.
Sour called l' resistance - really really good but drank more like a gose bc of the salt factor.
