Even the Gus bus looked good in Denver, I believe Mike drove the Gus bus into the playoffs once.

The game has evolved and changed since then, plus that division was awful on the defensive side of the ball for a long time ... 6 games a year awful ... I just don't think any of the comparing to wat he did in Denver or who he did it with

I think they gotta add a developmental QB/camp arm to the roster.

I think Adam Froman is the guy you're thinking about; he Josh Portis, Hartline, Devlin will be the most sought after UDFA QBs.

Yes. A.Froman!

Devlin will be very sought after I'm sure

I posted before that I felt strongly that our starting QB for next season was not yet on the roster. I thought we'd probably draft a QB in the 1st or 2nd Round and re-sign Grossman to start in the near-term. Now, I read that Shanahan is serious about Beck as the starting QB. I still can't believe it! I don't think that I'll allow myself to believe it until Beck takes the first snap in the opening game.

I suppose it's possible that Donavan McNabb has re-dedicated himself and is preparing to have a great season (as he claims) and that, somehow, he and the Shanahans can be reconciled and that Donavan can be our starter next season.

Or, perhaps we'll be able to trade for Carson Palmer or Kyle Orton.

But to have John Beck as our starter at QB is definitely the worst case scenario. I would prefer to have a pissed off McNabb or the journeyman Grossman as our starter, if that's the best we can do.

Beck is an unknown. Hard to say if he's the worst case scenario until we actually see him play.

1) Denial is probably.......best
2) McBounce may be planning on a great season, but his recievers and other assorted teamates......not so much
3) I'd rather have Arnold Palmer
4) Could be worse......could be Glenn Beck

Shanahan has made other scrubs look good, Plummer, Griese, so F it why not Beck?

This is pretty much my sentiment. I'd rather have Beck/Grossman at the helm than some guy who doesn't know the system. (Hasslebeck, Young)
