Definitely want try the Founders Giantone 09-30-2017, 04:26 PM Top 25 worst Beers in America... Anyone surprised,I was at a couple. 25 Worst Tasting Beers in America - 24/7 Wall St. (http://247wallst.com/special-report/2017/03/11/25-worst-tasting-beers-in-america/2/) BDBohnzie 10-01-2017, 10:10 PM Got to Aslin 2 weeks ago and picked up some of their IPAs and a sour. Very good beer but not sure if its worth the hassle. I found that RAR is just as good if not better and they are the same distance for me. Also RAR does't have a tablespoon of hops in the bottom of the can. Hop sludge from the fact that they don't cold crash their beers long enough before they can. This is a huge gripe amongst the Aslin buyers. I've traded for some Aslin here and there, but until part of their business model isn't "trusting the process" and seeing that nastiness in the bottom of the can, then they don't need my money. I've done a mixed case of RAR for several months now and they do not disappoint. August's Hyde and Marylan were bangin' (I have some 10 layers but have been saving the stouts), as were September's Slip Ons and Lumber Sexual (Again, I have 1st Meal stouts but they are taking a back seat to the IPAs). The single biggest advantage of RAR and their monthly releases is the ability of buying tickets online and picking up over the course of the weekend, instead of getting up way early and getting in line. Burley Oak has been killing it for months now. Their JREAM beers are incredible, and their IPAs have been awesome. Between Burley and RAR, it's easier to not weep over getting beers from Massachusetts, Vermont and Maine. BDBohnzie 10-01-2017, 10:12 PM Top 25 worst Beers in America... I haven't seen that in almost 20 years. Giantone 10-02-2017, 08:48 AM Hop sludge from the fact that they don't cold crash their beers long enough before they can. Good deal. If you can find it, pick up Lawson's Sip of Sunshine and Super Session (either #2 or #8). Using their beer finder, there are a few package stores that will have them. Sip of Sunshine is one of the better IPAs out there, and Super Session is a crushable beer. over the mountain 10-04-2017, 01:43 PM clown shoes bourbon barrel aged pecan pie porter was outstanding. Got back Friday and had a blast! Stayed at the Red Lion Inn (in Stockbridge) and hit Boston touring all day Tuesday but hit the Norman Rockwell Museum all so in Stockbridge and the Hancok(MA) Shaker Museum both worth the visit but I wanted to say our last night we ate at the Barrington Brewery and Resturant in Great Barrington and it was awesome!!! I am not the heavy beer drinker that some of you are ,can't take the dark thick stuff but this place has a good bit of everything and they brew it there! The Food was very good but I filled up on beer and I usually don't do that. The Berkshire Blond and the Raspberry Ale were two I enjoy greatly!:) Brought home a couple of case's of the Berkshire Brewing Companies Steel Rail Pale Ale and a case of Big Elm's Farm House Ale,they also brew a special "Lions Ale" exclusively for the Red Lion Inn which is very nice.I know it's a hell of a ride for many of you but it's worth it(to me,anyway).
