Beer good and atmosphere is even better: https://i.redd.it/bzrvkilkeou21.jpg SunnySide 11-05-2019, 05:03 PM ok what beers in whole foods or local stores should I look for while in New York and Connecticut market area? Not sure. Id read through beer advocates forums, they have regions that locals talk about local beers and breweries etc. I bought that Wicked Weed variety stout 4 pack .. I drank 2 ... I had the biggest constant farts like all day. Im sacred to drink the other 2. CBS bombers and 4 packs ($25) on shelves in MD, no limit. I honestly prefer: breakfast stout > KBS > CBS sdskinsfan2001 01-28-2020, 09:58 PM Live in San Diego. Staying at the Westin in Tucson for vacation. Gas is like $2.50 a gallon and you can get a 6 pack of IPA's at a Circle K for only $9.99. Bought 2 local beers and both are pretty good. I like Arizona. SanTan Hopshock is a beer I can have on a regular basis. SunnySide 01-31-2020, 02:52 PM Abraxas is out and about. One of my favorites. BaltimoreSkins 05-29-2020, 08:25 AM I was doing some research. I want to brew some Belgium style beers so I grabbed New Belgium's Trippel 8.5% malty, clear with subtle hops. Drank a bottle everyday. First one I tried said it was not for me by the time I got to the third day I began to appreciate it more. If you want to try something outside of a traditional english style beer like an IPA this was pretty good. Also went back to the first IPA I ever had Dogfish 60 minute. Tasted fantastic. Great hop balance. On a side I know over the last 20 years the craft industry has really pushed the boundary on hops. I would love to taste a 60 minute from 20 years ago to see how the flavor has changed to evolve with the competition. MTK 05-29-2020, 08:33 AM Funny I just picked up a sixer of 60 minute recently, haven't had it in a while but it's so tasty Giantone 05-29-2020, 08:38 AM Sadly one of the Breweries that I like from up in New England has closed due to the pandemic ,it seems I might not get to make my yearly beer run this fall. |
