you can put the turd in silver and black...but it still STINKS!

haha I kid I kid, I really like JC, nicest guy alive...he just never gets a break man. tipped ball INT's seem to happen to him more than anyone. Then Gradkowski comes in looking incredible and they are saying he's a better leader...poor JC. At least his "pockets straight"

what'd we get for him ... a 4th rounder?

Yeah, JC's a nice guy, but I think that, IF THIS FLORIO THING IS TRUE, he's been little complacent for too long. He's not good at creating his own "breaks".

He shouldn't be complaining(internally in his mind) about Grads begging to get in. Joey T was so desperate to get on the field he asked to return punts.

A controversy in Oakland.....? Now thats a shocker.

SOUP is not any NFL teams answer to a QB fix.

Mike Florio will not decide who the starting QB for the Raiders will be this Sunday or next Sunday.

Mike Florio's sources will not decide who the starting QB for the Raiders will be.

Raiders fans and journalists who cover the team and/or the NFL will not make that decision.

Interestingly, I'm not sure at all that Tom Cable will make that final decision either.

I have this feeling that the gentleman upstairs in the owners' box who tends to wear monochromatic jump suits with eyeglasses on a chain will have a very loud voice in the choir here.

So, unless Big Al calls a press conference and uses an overhead projector with vugraphs to explain his reasoning, I don't think anyone really knows who the starter on Sunday is gonna be.

So do people still believe that the Raiders will have a better team than the Redskins this year with JC as thier QB?

I don't think the Raiders have the better team but they may have a better record because of the schedule.

The Raiders play 6 games in the AFC West - - and that is the weakest division in the AFC. And the NFC division they play is the NFC West meaning they play the Rams, Cardinals, Seahawks and Niners. There could be a few "gimmes" in that mix.

Meanwhile the Redskins have six games against the NFC East (better than the AFC West) and their AFC division opponents include Indy, Houston, Tennessee and Jax.

Skins' schedule is a lot tougher.

Did anyone ever believe that? I think that people thought we could keep JC, get McNabb's production, all the while keeping our second round pick. I doubt anyone thought that Oakland would be better then us.

Who would dare think that. JC = Backup

It's a large fan base. We're bound to have some crazies.

By me living in the Bay it's safe to say that I'm surrounded by Raider fans. I've told them before the season even started that Gradkowski would end up being their starting QB. Damn it's great to tell them all "I told you so". For some reason the Raiders turn into a completely different team when he's in at QB. All of the sudden the receivers are open, and they actually catch the ball once it's thrown to them. It's mortifying.

I'm not suprised seeing as though he didn't want to stick around at workouts after we traded for Donovan. If it's true that he said that Gradkowski asked for playing time then hell, you came in and thought you were going to just waltz in and take his job. Of course he's gonna fight for it. Jason underperformed but he doesn't have the emotional attatchment to that fan base as he did with ours. So there aren't going to be that many folks in the media or in the public that will defend him. Bruce had the team going in an alright direction last year, Hue saw what Jason had to offer. As I've said many times before, the tape doesn't lie !
