don't get me wrong with this post, but JC would have loved to have this OL last year. Now, can we all just move on, and hope that DM and the WR corp somehow hit a stride.

McNabb - About 6 dropped passes, 1 being a potential TD. 5.32 YPA. 0 ints.

JC - 4.86 YPA (A stat that might be more important then Passing efficiency once you factor in a TD:INT ratio)

LOL. The difference was McNabb didn't turn the ball over and he only took one sack. But this thread is stupid. Not even Peyton Manning would do well out in Oak. As someone else mentioned, what is an average QB going to do on a team that is worse than the 09 Skins? This thread should be closed.

Let's agree to not continue comparing JC and McNabb all year

Proving that some fans are like girls that just got dumped, just can't let something go.

You seem especially interested in us letting it go... you didn't happen to start a thread last year where you made silly claims based on selective stats did you? Might explain why you would come into an obvious JC bashing thread with sand in your vag... Just saying... if their's anyone with a bunched up thong here it sure isn't the people taking pot shots at the Raiders new QB... :)

McNabb 1-0

JC 0-1

the more important stat

I personally try to steer clear of that stat. From what I've seen it's not exactly fair to peg wins and losses solely on the QB. My favorite example being 2008 Drew Brees. In 2008 the Saints were 7-9 when Brees posted a 96.2 passer rating with an 8.0 YPA. 2008 also saw Aaron Rodgers post a 93.2 passer rating with 7.5 YPA for a 6-10 team.

By the Wins-Loss rational Kerry Collins, Tavaris Jackson, and Jake Delhome were all better QB's in 2008 then Brees and Rodgers.

^ Exactly. I moved on during JC's second yr. I'm not a fan nor a basher, he was a nice kid personally, but for whatever reason not able to get over the hump.

I'll say this though seeing the thread today (obviously late) I rolled my eye's and thought "can't people just move on", and saw several people saying that very thing. When I saw the "please lock this thread" I thought yes please, lets stop trying to add insult to injury.

Now I'm thinking "please leave this thread open" otherwise we will constantly have wonderful people starting a thread each week to talk about how bad JC is playing. So instead of that lets keep this one open so the very same people who can't let go can continue to talk to themselves about JC.
